What encourages a person to make something of that magnitude?! lol Crazy Asians! hehe

And please don't reply, "Because they can!"

because they can!

full size = not a bust or head, but head to toe of a character.

FYI, 1:1 stuff are referred to as "life sized" not "full sized"

No, in reality that definition you just gave is as far removed from the actual meaning of "full sized" as one can possibly get. And that is the point of this thread. The fact that someone on a collector forum coins a phrase doesn't make it grammatically correct, nor does it mean that people who see it for the foolishness that it is are somehow worthy of your derision.

How is it far removed from the actual meaning when you dont even know what the actual meaning is? As long as I have been collecting, i've never had a problem with the term full sized vs life sized. it's really not that difficult.

I think what Robo is saying is that while "Full Size" seems to be accepted by the collecting community, the term is technically misleading.
Imagine it in a conversation with someone not familiar with the misleading term...

"What kind of sculpt is it?"
"Its a full size sculpt"
"Wow, thats big. I only have room for 1/4 scale or less."
"Its smaller than 1/4 scale. Its about 1/8 scale"
"Huh? .. you just said its full SIZE"

Theyre using the word "size" to describe how much of a character is sculpted.
