Superman/Batman 1 & 3
Supergirl: Beyond Good and Evil, and Way of the World

Vampirella Archives vol.6

Marvel Star Wars Omnibus 1-3
Wolverine: Not Dead Yet
Marvel Comics Presents Wolverine 1-4
Marvel Masterworks Uncanny X-Men 6-8
New X-Men: Childhood's End 2-5
5 Ronin

World of Flashpoint: Batman, and Superman will be arriving next week. I looked at what I bought last year and I blushed. I was a comic **** something wicked. Been trying to keep my knees together this year.

:lol beautifully put. :rotfl

My list has gotten a lot smaller lately, but picked up a few HC's to keep me going. Picked up Battle for the Cowl and Batman Long Shadows as I work my way through Grant Morrison's Batman epic.

As for single issues, just Batman Incorporated 12 and Green Arrow 22 this week. Absolutely loving Green Arrow. Also got Batman/Superman 1, though not read it yet.

Can't recommend this enough, it's HUGE, i mean seriously HUGE.

Feels really deluxe, comes in it's own dedicated box which has the book inside.

Has the outer slipcover and the art is printed onto the book cover rather than a dust cover wrap.

The printing is so big that you don't have to have it on your lap (thank god as it's so heavy) to read it. It also comes with a digital copy download if you just wanna have it on your shelf, though sadly you have to unwrap the book to get it.

Would've been nice to have the code in the box so you can leave the book wrapped for collectible purposes and still read the stories.

Right now I'm reading.

-Thor: God of Thunder, god damned master piece right there.
-Action comics
-Deadpool&Cable, oldies but goldies.
-The Death of the family arc.
-X-men, the one with all the chicks.
-Injustice, it started as mindless fun, at this point I only read it for morbid curiosity.
-Superman unchained.

In the last few weeks I've picked up/read a few Batman Elseworlds stories.

Batman: Castle of the Bat - Batman/Frankenstein mix
Batman: Dark Knight of the Round Table
Batman: Masque - Batman/Phantom of the Opera mix
Batman: Nevermore - Batman teams with Edgar Allan Poe
Batman: Reign of Terror - Batman in the French Revolution

:lol:lol:lol

I'm so ashamed.

Never be ashamed of who you at my friend. :lol

Is there anything you're picking up regularly?

There are some really great Elseworlds stories. If you haven't read them, Gotham by Gaslight and Nine Lives are both really great.

I was. Everything is at full stop right now. I was getting Batman, Catwoman, Wonder Woman, Frankenstein, Justice League Dark, Red Hood & the Outlaws, and Suicide Squad. I wasn't reading them as they came in, so I eventually I just stopped getting them all around issue #20.

Yeah I kind of went a similar way, was picking up a lot regularly but found that I wasn't really reading them, so dropped a lot of titles. Still getting a few Batman titles though and Green Arrow. Loving Green Aarow at the minute.

Gotham by Gaslight is great. I need to figure out what long box it's in and give it a read again soon.

Nine Lives has a premise that I like, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Detective No.27 is another I'd like to read even though the reviews I've read are middling.

Just read Batman 22, another great issue from Snyder and loving his take on Batman's origin. The oroborous page was awesome.

Also this week Nightwing 22, really great issue. I've been loving Kyle Higgins work on this since the start of the new 52, really great stuff. And Superman Unchained 2, another great issue from Snyder. Would be really interested to see him write Justice League, I think he could do something pretty special.

Also re read Arkham Asylum: Serious house on Serious Earth last night for the first time in a few years. Still a masterpiece. There were a few moments that I feel seems almost out of character for Batman, but I'm assuming that's down to the fact, according to Morrison,
the story is just a dream,
. Still an amazing read and one of my first ever graphic novels many years ago.

Absolutely! Love McKean's art! Been looking for the cover art poster for some time, haven't been able to find one.

Yeah, that whole book is fantastic. Apparently Morrison had originally envisioned my h different art work, I think he said someone like Brian Bolland. And Dave McKean was really against the idea of drawing it but eventually came around. Can you imagine that book with a much more "regular" art style?

Jim Thompson, South of Heaven.
Jim Thompson, A Hell of a Woman.
Sherman Alexie, The Absoulutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian.
Vladimir Nabokov, Invitation to a Beheading.

been reading (and re-reading) every Terminator comic book ever published... I have just one left now. I had to order this one and it's on the way...

I remember having a couple of Terminator comics as a kid and loved them. I think I had the first few issues. Don't know what ever happened to them.

I just got Absolute Batman and Robin and Return of Bruce Wayne, making my way steadily through Morrison's Batman epic. This is my first Absolute edition and it looks fantastic. I'm really impressed and can't wait to get some more of these editions.

Ok, so I need a little help from some comic experts. I've been making my w through Grant Morrison's epic Batman run and am currently getting through Batman and Robin. I've got through the first two volumes but I've read some lists online that say to read Return of Bruce Wayne next then the third volume of Batman and Robin. Is this the best idea? I have both anyway and just want the best reading order.

Also, I've read a few places that issues 30 and 47 of "52" Year One and the story "Dark Knight, Dark City" all tie in as well. I have all those too and was wondering if its worth hunting them out and reading them too and if so where should I read them with regards to the rest.

I know Morrison's run is pretty extensive with all kinds of stuff woven in but if anyone can help out I'd be really grateful. Just want the best reading experience I can get.
