I was thinking about picking up Tombstone today...but I have my $45 coupon at BB, and Saving Private Ryan comes out next Tuesday. I think I'll end up waiting to get both next week...but it's going to be a tough wait.

I have the DVD of Tombstone and from what I've read this is a bare-bones Blu; what a shame.

There's a couple of special features but it's not the Director's Cut. I'm gonna stick with the DVD and hope they make a better version later on.

Hopefully they will release the Kurt Russell approved cut as well. I had NO IDEA until just recently that Russell practically directed the entire movie!

It's not the director's cut, but we're talking single digit minutes here. I'm not going to pay more than $20 though, and they wanted $25 at BB today.

I am happy getting this version. We are not talking LOTR EE's here... we are talking minutes some scenes are seconds... Not a big deal in my eyes...

I am not expecting a ton of extra footage, but there is little doubt a more comprehensive release will eventually be released; that's what I am waiting for.
