Escape From New York is out and so far people are saying it looks good but not great, but the best it's looked so far.

I'm betting it's the same transfer as the UK release which I got earlier this year for a good price.

No, they say it's much better then that. But it's a bare-bone release so if you got the MGM DVD, keep it.

I'm curious how much better the release is to the MGM special edition DVD. One of my favorite movies. Bummer that this and Robocop can't get good transfers.

UPS just dropped off my Battlestar Galactica: The Complete Series Blu-ray set. Time to see what all the hubbub is about.

Ooh, and the box says it'll take 69 hours to complete the whole thing. Yay....
