Question for you, what compared to the original version is better in this one? (T2 Skynet Edition)

The blu-ray picture is of the highest quality. It wipes the floor with previous blu-ray release.

The Skynet version is actually worse in terms of picture quality than the other releases out there. Here's a comparison to the Japanese version (which is close to the original release) - watch the hair, and texture on the skin and clothing.

Surely you can see for yourself in the link I provided, that detail is far more prominent in the Japanese version (similar to the Canal) - and that the skynet version has been scrubbed of grain?

I have freezed the very same image on my TV and it looks miles better than both of those images. The lines on her vest really stand out and you can see the marks on the face with ease. That example is just wrong and my copy is nothing like the soft image they are portraying.

Still dont buy many blu ray's as they are a rip here in Australia.
