I've cut back quite a bit on my Blu-ray spending this year. Quite a few I would've blind bought in the past have just been rentals for me.

Like I said before, I have as well. Got nothing new last week

But then when there is a sale or gohastings has a sale on used, I go to town. It's just not worth it, unless there is a coupon involved.

yeah for once, my netflix is keeping me from buying alot of stuff I would have blind bought as well.

I just added Blu back to my netflix for this reason.

Yea, this week might be my first major spend in awhile. I have a bunch of Target gift cards though, so technically I won't notice it.

Tangled is a must, and I suspect I'll break down and buy All Dogs Go To Heaven, Secret of NIMH and Soylent Green...

Target has a free Little Golden Book with purchase and Best Buy has a Pascal plushie with either combo pack. Plus, if you buy another Disney movie at the same time at Target, you'll get a $10 Target giftcard.

Walmart has a brush and comb set with their's.

I'm getting the plushie.

Totally agree man, thats something that bugs the hell out of me. I usually go to best buy and I always wanted to explain to them what was the point of having this "special slip cover" or what not and then they slap a giant best buy price or something best buy related right on it. Then you try and take it of and you get that crappy sticky left over tape...ahhhh dammit I hate that. I care about my covers as well man so your not alone.

Picked up Tangled at Target.

Then went on the hunt for the catalog titles. Went from Target to Meijers to Best Buy to Wal-mart. No All Dogs Go To Heaven. No Soylent Green. No Secret of NIMH. I hate when I want to give retailers my money and they refuse to take it.

Costco has a lot of catalog titles for $7.99 in store if you've got one near you. I picked Memento and Cool Hand Luke up. I wanted to get Requiem For A Dream but I think I might own it. I guess I need to go over my collection again.

Wal-mart has a new display with a bunch of $6 blus too. Nothing too exciting, although if you don't have Stargate or Near Dark, that's not a bad price.

They also are putting out a bunch of $8 and $10 titles, but my store was still in total disarray.

I picked up Final Fantasy The Spirits Within for $4.75 on Blu. Picture is a big upgrade from my old DVD.

Not a great story to be sure, but it had terrific visuals. Turn off the sound it goes well with your favorite music.

Got Tangled and Black Swan at Target today.

Called Best Buy first thing when they opened to reserve my copy of Tangled w/free Pascal Plush. Went to pick it up and no Pascal, they were out. How the hell does that happen when I called them as soon as they opened? Then I forgot to use my coupon to boot.

I really hate that too when it leaves that residue on the cover. When I first bought a lot of my dvds, I didn't care if they had the stickers on the cover or not. I often buy a DVD and then don't watch it for several months or so. They become a pain to try and remove and the other day some of the Braveheart cover artwork came with the price tag
Luckily I have a custom digi just for that movie coming shortly
