Picked up the Platinum Edition of Looney Tunes on blu at BB. They had the more expensive collectors set too with the glass, etc, but since I just want the shows, I was good.

Amazon has the Peanuts Halloween/Thanksgiving/Christmas Blu-ray set for $20.49, so I ordered that today.

I hear you. I actually really like the Harry Potter films but its not a series that I'll pour through special features and deleted scenes like I do with SW and LOTR. One little case at $79.99 with all 8 films is perfect for me.

Good luck to those who are waiting to pick this up on Black Friday. Its already sold out at all Targets and one Best Buy in my area and that's at $79.99. Prepare to get up hella early if you want to somehow get it cheaper than that after Thanksgiving.

A friend of mine bought a "box set" and claims that they are just repacks of unsold blus from the series. She said some of the discs said "Movie" or something else, that made her think there should be more discs involved.

That is always the case with many stripped down "sets".

The movie disc comes from the multi-packs. They have been doing this for years.

That is where I bought mine. It is 57 shipped for eleven disks. Not a bad deal. Since I love the movies but not nearly as much as the books.

You're right. The ads very faintly have dvd and bluray listed next to their respective pictures, and Harry has dvd next to it. Oh well

I just found out that I can get the UK version on eBay for $38. If you can beat that, you've got yourself a deal.

This morning I had to run to BJ's to get some formula and diapers and they had HP: Half Blood Prince and Deathly Hollows 1 blurays on sale for $9.99 each so I scooped them up. If I can get to Best Buy on BF and get part 2 for $9.99 as well I'll be all set.

Just now picked it up in a local shop. Saw it had a slip cover and the nerd inside me couldn't resist.

Speaking of which I think I have one or two US disney movie reward points that I can't use , is there anyway to get them changed to UK points or if not does anybody here want them for free ?.

I think I have them for Alice in Wonderland , The Incredibles , maybe bugs life and another.
