Although there are some who buy any movie available just so they can brag about their big collection. They're small in the pants so they need some way to compensate for it
I agree.
I have also seen that there are a number of movies that I don't know I would want at my disposal... hence why my day 1 purchases have narrowed so much. I used to buy so many at one time. Now I just get one if any.
And for the most part they may just be popcorn action flick, but stuff I can watch and enjoy the image and sound in my theater room.
I just enjoy movies to enjoy them.
See let say something like Ides of March... great movie, but will I watch again? No... non-purchase.
I don't buy as many as I used to, but I always wish I could cut back even more. I buy movies I like. Once you get over a hundred or so, rewatching them gets to be more and more difficult.
Agree as well, hence why I am rethinking my entire approach to what I keep ... Classics are classics... but modern day movie making is not bringing us those classics like it used to... so why buy ? Unless it's dirt cheap.
