But if i HAD to choose, it would be my Star Wars box-set, Harry Potter box-set, Alfred Hitchcock box-set, Casablanca and Seven Samurai. I think.

Thanks Iron. I was just curious. Would be an awful decision for me. I would have no idea what I would choose, other than I'd hope I'd pick ones I couldn't replace.

Do you have yours inventoried for insurance?

I have my blu-rays and most of my DVD's added to my account at blu-ray.com and all my Criterions are added to my account at criterion.com. And the collection is part of the insurance my parents have. Someone from the insurance company checked out my figure and movie collection to get an idea of what i have but i'm not sure how it's insured. I also need to take some new pictures of my collections. It's been a few years :panic:

Damn and to think I thought I had a ton at 700 :lol

:lol

My insurance includes contents coverage, but when anything happens, say theft, you have to have an inventory list along with replacement cost to really get things covered. If you just tell them, they will estimate it very low. Our garage was broken into years ago, and my father's tools will all stolen (except the woodworking tools) and he had to sit and list out everything that was missing and how much it would be to replace them. A lot of work.

I really should get some kind of a list going and pics just in case. Since I have a smartphone now I can just scan the barcodes.

I'm all set, I have industrial grade sprinklers in my home.
I havent counted them all, but I have somewhere in the neighborhood of 500 movies/sets.

Every now and then I'll be looking through my collection and find something I didnt realize I owned and wonder why on Earth I bought it in the first place.
