I bought the Hogwarts collection for BF at 90 bucks, and now the steels are being released today at Best Buy for 100. Man, not sure which I want. The case is so big, but I think I'd rather have me in cases opposed to sleeves like Hogwarts. Damn.

I ordered the steel collection. I always tell my wife when she sees a sale/deal that it's easier to go ahead and buy it and return it later if you change your mind (provided it's not a final sale) then pass on the deal and have it sell out.

That's exactly what I'm going to do. Plus I mainly want the digital copy which is 100 bucks, may as well have the steelbooks. Crazy, I have bought two box sets of 007, and now have 4 of Harry Potter. I'm not even that big of a fan lol

Some stores have it in stock, but they couldn't put it out on the floor. I have a store holding it for me since I said the feature doesn't allow for pick ups.

There's been some confusion on this with Best Buy employees. The website lists a street date of 12/4, which means it can be purchased. Some people on the Blu-Ray.com forum have been able to purchase it, but had to ask employees to get it from the back. Others have said the Best Buys they went to refused to sell them, saying that the "official" release is on Tuesdays a la other media. However, since people were able to purchase them at some stores, I think the actual release date was on Sunday; the system won't let you check out things that haven't been official released, correct?

I know BB system from working there, and those employees were probably seasonal. Some stores had them out front, so it really is a cluster****. Doesn't help that their inventory department mucks it all up.
I also got the X Files Blu Ray set for 120. Never seen the series, but I feel it will get cheaper over time. Debating on returning jt.

Yeah, the option is out there, but like Dino said, some speculate stores will "be able" to sell them tomorrow. Despite having a SD of 12/4. I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case, since BB can't get their **** together.

If anyone is able to score a second copy of Secret of Pets steel, I'd appreciate it. Got class until noon, so I doubt I'd find one. I'd imagine this is a Killing Joke scenario.
