Disappointed that there wasn't a steel book for War...debating on whether to pick it up or wait to see if a steel book will be released...Fox has a history of re-releasing catalog titles in steel (The Revenant, the Martian, Deadpool...three times :))

I know, I was a little taken aback by that, totally thought there would be a Steelbook... Err Metalpak.

I got the 3D version.

Finally, someone else on here bought Batman Vs. Two-Face. :lol I'd love to hear what you think of it.

I really hate those printed-on Rotten Tomatoes logos on DVD covers, especially when they're on the front. I get that it's a marketing tactic, but still.

I really enjoyed it. It was much darker than I had anticipated, and I’m not sure if it was quite as good as Return of the Caped Crusaders, but it was great. I loved the “Lucilee Diamond” cameo they threw in there. I had to wait until the credits to confirm it was what I thought, but I thought it was super clever.

I used to be a big buyer of DVD's and Blu ray's, but got tired of all the double and triple dipping by the film studio's. Now I only buy my absolute favorite films and I usually wait a couple of years and buy them on black Friday for less than $5. The one exception is Spacecraft Films. I buy every release that company puts out. Just amazing documentaries on the US space program and I am a sucker for space/astronomy documentaries. I recently picked up their latest release, Live From The Moon on Blu ray.

It was amazing, just like all of their releases. Highly recommended for space fanatics!

I was looking on eBay for a 3D disc for War for the Planet of the Apes and I came across this listing. I didn't know they made a steelbook for this and when I looked at his other auctions, he has steelbooks that were BB exclusives and he's sold 100s of them. Think they're fakes?

Imports from another country. Not sure which one, though, since he just states that it's the international edition. Also, the one's i've found all come out on November 27th, except for Australia which is the 15th and Germany on December 7th so i don't know where he gets October 24 from :dunno

He must know where to get a hold of some stock because he sold 312 Pirates steels so far. They look like the ones Zavvi and BB sold that were suppose to be exclusives. :lol

Zavvi has the Apes trilogy available for pre-order as a steel book.

It looks okay, but I'm hoping that Fox will do the steel book re-release with War. I'm contemplating double dipping and getting the steels of Rise and Dawn, since technically the copy of Dawn I have is a metal pak.

Or I may just wait until Black Friday and get an amaray copy of War for cheap.
