Yes, still have the blu-ray box set, which I will keep, because I will never, ever buy the prequels again. As we know, 4K doesn't matter with the PT.

It does though. Of course the PT will never look as good as Dunkirk but there's no question that they are very noticeably better on 4K than those 2011 blu-rays. The resolution is upscaled but more than that it's all about the HDR.

This is true.

They certainly don?t look worse than their HD versions.

There seems to be more depth and separation which makes the image pop more than the previous lifeless versions so there is an undeniable improvement baked into them now.

Get them rush you must have younglings slaughtered in HDR.

Couldn't pass on BB's sale of $9.99(!) for the 4K Aladdin steel and $14.99 for 4K PatF, especially since I have no doubt that these will soon be deemed too politically incorrect/racist/problematic and heavily edited/censored in the not too distant future.

As far as classic animation goes Aladdin in particular has always been a favorite. One step closer to saying bye bye to Disney+! :rock

Yes indeed! Surprisingly dark and violent in parts too. Not only does Shadow Man kill the firefly guy by stepping on him but you hear the literal crunch of his body when he does it. :horror And then for his sins SM gets dragged screaming to actual *hell* at the end. :thud:

It was also the end of Disney's hand drawn feature length animation era. A worthy bookend to 1937's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. But I'm sure that SJW Disney will eventually tweak it in some ways in addition to adding more clothes to Slave Jasmine or whatever so I'm glad I'll forever have these as they are in awesome 4K.

Cool deal let me ask the wife if she is interested in that animated movie or would she prefer the 85th viewing of anything SW this week

Wait are you saying that you've never seen Princess and the Frog and that I just spoiled major parts of the ending for you, lol. I thought you were openly declaring that it was a good movie. :lol

I just read how I phrased it and I can totally see how you interpreted it that way lol

That?s ok because the spoiler didn?t really process in my head so I?ll forget it by the time I never get around to watching it.

I missed out on $10 Tangled and Ratatouille 4K steelbooks, because I wrongly assumed they would still be around by the end of the day.

Next time... NO hesitation!

Maybe if the 4K PT goes on sale for $10, maybe I'll give in, just to have them all match. [emoji6]

Just saw that, $5 Frozen 4K!

Best buy must be hurting.

Lots more crazy prices.

Can't wait for Wall-E 4K to hit that price, which we know it will, eventually.

I'm waiting for Monster's Inc. to come down. Just picked up Toy Story and Finding Nemo today. I never thought I'd live to see such discounts on premium Disney releases.

It's a perfect storm, way overproduced steelbooks + Disney+ + huge sales slump due to virus = absurd deals.

Makes me wonder how little they actually pay for these. Are they still making a profit off a $5 Frozen Steelbook?
