I love Part 2. It scared me just as much as the first when I was young. Everytime I heard the "Mr Sandman" song on the radio, it reminded of this movie and I would become anxious/scared and changed the radio to a different channel immediately.

I saw Halloween 2 on TV before I saw Back to the Future, so Mr. Sandman was a bit ominous for me when I saw BTTF as well. The film isn't great, but it definitely has its moments.

That's right! The song is in that movie too! Luckily for me, by the time I saw Back to the Future, I don't get scared as easily any more.

It wasn't that much later that I saw it, but whenever I hear the song, Halloween 2 is the first thing that comes to mind...for some reason.
