Just watched "Grave Encounters". Solid flick if your into that Paranormal Activity style reality film. I absolutely loved it personally. Will have trouble sleeping tonight for sure :)
Awesome!
There aren't too many of us that enjoyed this movie. :hi5:

I really like the script. The dialogue.
You get a feeling that the crew videotaping the documentary is genuinely terrified. Their sense of panic really shines through. At least for me it did.

I'm going to watch this again tonight. :yess:

The original NOTLD started it off today. Tomorrow will be The Thing from another World. Wednesday will be The Thing. That is all I have planned ahead. I'll see how I feel a the end of the week and what movies I want to watch. Although, I have been having a hankering for some Bride of frankenstein.

I just saw Cabin in the Woods, that has some good Halloween elements to it. Looking forward to Silent Hill 2 later this month. Night Breed, Night Flier, Hellraiser 1 and 2, Bad moon, Nightmare on Elm St. (original) and Walking Dead. My younger sister always liked watching anime for Halloween, like Vampire Hunter D and Curse of the Undead Yoma are two of her favorites.

Nice.

I think I'm gonna try Silent House tomorrow night.

Was waiting for October to start my Halloween viewing. Kicked it off tonight with the original night of the living dead. One of my top films and a great way to start.

Really wanna pick up the universal monsters blu ray collection that came out Monday too, feel like I should get it before Halloween.

I thought I would do something different this year. I started watching horror movies in september. I thought doing a history of horror films. Watching them chronologically. All 298 horror films I have . So far I've watched 1910's,1920's,1930's,1940's,1950's,1960's,1970's now I'm on 1986.

That's a really cool idea. There are some real gems from every decade there. What are you watching now?

tomorrow I have Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, A Nightmare On Elm Street 3 Dream Warriors, The Monster Squad, Hellraiser,Friday the 13th The New Blood.

Great choices. I don't have a set list or plan, just gonna see how I feel each day. Got certain films that will definitely be watched though. Specifically some 80's classics. Nightmare on elm street, Friday 13th, the Halloween series, evils dead 2. Just started things off with night of the living dead. Hopefully will get the new universal monsters blu ray box set soon too and work those in. :rock
