That scene is more than likely entirely CGI though, so just b/c the CGI model turned its head, doesn?t make it the BvS cowl. Ben seemed to turn his head just fine during the fight with the Parademons under Gotham Harbor though, so not sure how that defines one cowl vs another.

Regardless, the previous posts asked if he was wearing the BvS suit and the suit itself is definitely the JL suit, not the BvS one. I?ve seen the movie twice now and checked again before posting, it?s definitely the JL suit. That?s why I mentioned that you can see the line work on the shoulders and arms in that scene that is specific to the JL suit.

As for Lex, Zack always said that Lex in BvS isn?t the Lex Luthor we know YET. So I wouldn?t say that Lex was ?fixed? in terms of correcting a wrong with how he was portrayed in BvS, but rather grown as character. He admits that he had a few screws loose in his head that needed sorting and the Arkham doctors helped him with that.

As for Joker, we would?ve gotten a better joker in Suicide Squad, had WB not meddled with it and cut nearly all his scenes. Not saying it would?ve been as good as the few minutes we got here, but I do believe it would?ve been better than what we got. WB and Geoff Johns meddle with Suicide Squad a lot by changing the tone of the movie, many scenes including the end battle as well as cutting joker?s scenes. David Ayer has mentioned his original cut was also pretty different than what was released. And I could be wrong, but I believe Snyder mentioned a while ago that Joker isn?t a former Robin.

That cowl is BvS cowl 100%, Snyder himself said how they got it out of storage (I?ll find the Quote later). Also the neck is thicker and it?s has a different furrowed brow. The new cowl has a thin neck and egg shaped head. The ears are different.

Also, the engineer Jose Fernandez that designed that BvS cowl owns the patent. They accidentally didn?t credit him in BvS so he didn?t let them use it for JL, hence the worse look and lack of head turn. Looks like he gave it to them for the Epilogue.

You think Arkham helped Lex be more sane like they implied? It?s probably just to counteract the backlash to his whack portrayal. He seemed a lot more like classic Lex there.

I?d love to see the Ayer cut and see what they really did for the joker. That movie tonally was terrible as well as horrific editing and music. But the difference with the Ayer cut is the villain and reason for the SS is still bad.

I watched the film last Thursday and I absolutely loved it! I really hope we'll get some sort of continuation of this, hopefully by Snyder himself. I'd love to see a figure of Knightmare Joker to go with the Knightmare Batman figure. It'd be great to see a Deathstroke figure as well.

Hopefully HT will make some more of this line than the 2 pack they've shown already.

The new design of the Joker is perfect. He looks scary, absolutely insane. Some exorcist vibe going on.

Wow. The expectations in this thread are a bit funny. First it is DC. Second Star Wars and Marvel have characters that will sell far more than a one minute scene. Three the Twitterverse/Tumblrverse that is propping this movie up is known for being cheap (see Star Wars ST Hot Toys). Four the Leto Joker didn’t sell all that great no idea why they would revisit it for the cringey reach around version. Five the designs are ugly.

I’m just commenting on the unrealistic expectations. It has nothing to do with me loving or hating the movie.

Hot Toys hates DC. They ignore the license.

But I’ll add one figure to the wishlist.

Darkseid. Would make for a pretty cool figure. Can work as a more modern comic version too.

Swat vest joker would be a instant PO, especially after watching that scene
After watching the Snyder cut I'd pick up Cyborg too. That's one figure we can get both his regular and knightmare looks in one. Just include his cloak and removable extra arms with shoulder mounted gun.
Steppenwolf can be done. The spikes could be made removable to simulate his armor in it's "relaxed" state, light up effect for the axe like stormbreaker, interchangeable faceplates.
HT's too lazy to innovate anymore. They're making too much money from reissues that require zero work.

Seems we are not talking about the same scene. The members in their previous posts were referring to the epilogue scene of Batman standing on top of the war machine Batmobile, not the Knightmare scene. When Batman is standing on top of the large Batmobile, he is in the JL suit, not the BvS suit. Yes, the Knightmare cowl is the BvS cowl.

As for Lex, I am not really thinking or assuming anything as Luthor outright says it while talking to Deathstroke. He is more classic Lex b/c he has been straightened out by the Arkham doctors as he says. Snyder always planned to eventually get to the classic Luthor. Difference is fans wanted classic Luthor right out of the gate, but Snyder wanted to show him before he became classic Lex, so the character had room to grow. He mentioned it before, a long time ago

The problem was that they had dry rotted so much that they pretty much ripped when Ben put them on. He said there was a lot of duct tape used to hold the cowl together for the Knighmare scene.

Very interesting! I?m glad they brought it back. I actually hate all the other suits bar the Armored one. They already Perfected his suit in BVS!
