Damn, what a downer reading these was lol. I feel like I need to watch a comedy or something to lift me back up. Way too much despair throughout. The drama of the Clark/Bruce/Lois love triangle and giving birth to bat boy feels like a soap opera haha

Yes although I like zack snyder's man of steel and BvS I feel this suffers from the same issues I noticed in BvS the over complex method which Luthor used to cause batman and superman to fight. In fact this story board out line mirrors alot what the story li w that was used in the latest DC animation in terms of what happens to the justice league and when they travel to apocalypse to fight dark side. And how he destroy and enslaves the justice league.

Has with all these story lines I dont like it when they stray from the scourse material first question I always ask is what story arch are they adapting I the case of this story it's a heavily influenced by flash point .which is bleak and dark story line . I would have preferred justice 1 the one we are getting now mirror the DC animated movie just league war simiple but straight forward story. Follow that up with using that brainiac story li e from justice league unlimited end close out dark side invason.

This alternative reality and dark setting will confuse people I understand marvel did something like this but this is like the reall apocalypse.

It's always best that they have a story line that they adapt rather then try and make up something on their own.

The red /blue suit is shown in this teaser when he returns. So why the black suit? The movie version of the black suit has nothing to do with regeneration like in the comics. As nice as it looks the blue would have been better for his return as it does a better job of inspiring hope.

Yeah for me the moment they strayed from the comic the black suit lost its comic purpose and became a symbol of the evil kryptoniana I would have preferred they game him a different suit like grey suit with no cape in superman returns. Black suit here just to absorb sunlight but it suit of the villains from the previous movie. Plus we are no longer mourning his death or they could have give him his dad's armor suit to show like that he need the armor since he is recovering .

We missed out alot on the whole death and return of superman if I could have them do it again it would have been that story still have superman fight batman but not quite like that and die and have part 3 with the clones and him actually like in the comic in hibernation state and the evil clones and cyborg superman and destroying things and when comes back to take them on.

Go talk about movies & figures you love & are excited for, this is getting so tiresome. People are passionate about these movies & their style. Get over it. If Hot Toys would produce them, I'd buy a figure of every character from this series. I want it all.

Yeah I’m not about trying to drive anyone off, but please have some social awareness and read the room! This is clearly a thread for folks that are excited about ZSJL, i.e., mostly Snyder fans, which by definition means hope for that five film saga might still get made. If someone doesn’t care for the Snyderverse to each their own, but in a thread like this continually knocking it is kind of pissing in everyone else’s Cheerios.

I don't hate JL. It's just not a good movie IMO. Sucks, as I'm a Superman fan, but there it is. I wish I wanted a version of Supes from this flick but I honestly don't. But I hope every Superman fan gets what they want from this.

Sincerely appreciate the civil, well reasoned response. Yeah, differences of opinion are to be expected. It's constant *****ting all over something that gets obnoxious and wearisome.

Regarding continuation of the saga people see what they want to see, or are inclined to see (confirmation bias, etc.) Make no mistake, though, Zack Snyder himself absolutely does want to complete the saga. Releasing the storyboards for JL 2 and 3 to a museum just the other day (within two weeks of the release of ZSJL) is part of that. Zack even said so just yesterday. He has been marshalling all his resources and the battle isn't over. Depending on the metrics when ZSJL releases if it performs well enough, the saga will continue. And by this I mean if all of the following are impressive as hell: number of views, subscriptions substantially increase, and there's a ton of social media chatter about the movie.

The thing I don’t really understand is how can anyone say they don’t like this new version of JL when no one has seen it yet? Even the press reviewers don’t get early access until the 15th I believe. I completely understand folks not liking Josstice League since that has been released for some time now. Are ppl forming their opinion based solely on the trailers? Or do folks STILL think this is just an extended version of Josstice League and don’t know that it’s pretty much a completely different/new movie?

It's crazy. I would've bought the solo film Aquaman if they produced either Manta or Orm to go with him. Instead they only made a half effort Aquaman, so I bought zero figures instead of 2/3. They really need to pick it up with the villains. Orm & especially Manta would make beautiful figures.

On the subject of the 2 & 3 storyboards / roadmap, it's evident that's going to change if those films happen. Deadshot seems to already be replaced by Deathstroke in the Knightmare. And Martian Manhunter + Joker appear nowhere in those outlines. I'm sure Snyder and Terrio have reworked large chunks of the story. And the "Bruce is the father of Lois' child" storyline was dropped apparently.

I can't imagine they'll go that deep. Best case would be Black Superman because that's easy for them. Cyborg, as he is the only missing JL member, and they showed a prototype. Everything else would be gravy !

If it's successful and HBOMax greenlights JL Season 2 (set in the Knightmare world), then all bets are off re: Hot Toys figures.

Imagine having all those Knightmare versions shown at the Dallas exhibition, holy crap that would be cool to have on the shelf !!
