Re: Zebraten's customs/Luke Skywalker snow speeder pilot-TWD Carl updated

My goodness, every figure displayed in this thread is superb! Clearly a very talented guy with a creative eye. :clap

Re: Zebraten's custom figure thread/Walking Dead Carl WIP

Agreed, it's the best version I've seen so far. What suit and helmet did you use?

Thanks very much. The suit is a combo of a Soldier Story tan flight suit, dyed orange and the Hasbro Luke ceremonial yellow jacket's sleeves and bottom half sewn on to the flight suit. The ceremonial jacket is way to bulky so I had to just use bits and pieces of it.

The helmet is the Tomy one, dremeled to fit his noggin.

Great group of figures, a really exceptional collection of custom characters.

Cheers,
Peter.

Great work Zebraten! The snow effect looks so real! What did you use to create the snow effect? Really amazing work!

Thanks very much! The snow effect is Christmas "snow in a can" sprayed from about two feet away and also from above. It's eventually dries to what you see. I covered the face before spraying. I also used woodland Scenics fake snow and added some white glue and water and applied the mixture with a brush. Kind of makes a slush effect that sticks on.

Hope that helps!

Re: Zebraten's customs/Fat, Old Superman WIP

Fatntastic works of art!!!:clap
Love the Gaslight Bats... The walking Dead prison zombie is awesome!

Re: Zebraten's customs/Fat, Old Superman WIP

Fantastic work, man. I have to say, though, that Modern Cap is probably my favorite; just brilliant the way you incorporated the design into modern military apparel.

Re: Zebraten's customs/Fat, Old Superman WIP

Going back to your first page of posts. O really like that first appearance Superman. Most cool as it doesn't use the overmuscled look that Superman gained later(don't get me started on Superman in the 90's). Great job! Also, your take on the DC characters Victorian personae was amazing. Very inventive.

The Victorian's are some of my favorite to make. I have some villians planned too.

Thanks again, guys.

Thanks, It's Schultz from Sideshow's Hogan's Heroes, repainted and his mustache dremeled off. The plan is to bring him and the rest of the League to the Show in May...:hi5:
