They couldn't find Osama. So they turned to the one man...who can.

I've been looking forward to this one for awhile... as a big fan of The Hurt Locker, I expect ZDT to be just as good- if not better! :D

Great cast too!

Lonnie this is based off of the Osama Bin Laden Mission to take him out.

The problem I have with it, is that I read No Easy Day. That book was a first hand account of what went down written by a Seal who was there. This movie was done before the book came out. So I'm not sure if it will have the accuracy of the book.

My favorite part in the book was when the Seal quitely called out to Kahlid by his name "Kahlid" he stuck his head out to see who was calling for him and BOOM, shot in the head.

That was my favorite part as well. Quick thinking on that Seal's part.

It's such a natural human reaction to be like hmmmm who's calling my name. Whoops! :slap

I also can appreciate that once they were fired at they didn't bat an eye to just start taking people out. Of course the media had to put their "spin" on how Osama bought it. I also enjoyed reading that part in the book. It was to the point, he hit the floor, and received a few more presents. :flag

From a strictly gear/weapons/equipment perspective, this looks surprisingly accurate.
Gunhandling looks pretty on point too.

I just saw this and really liked it. I wish I knew how much was accurate, though. It was very interesting to see the intelligence behind the scenes. My husband was in Navy intelligence for four years of active duty and 16 years in the reserves, save for his nine month activation a year after September 11th to go work at ONI. One of our friends (his friend from the Navy)was undercover in Pakistan some years ago. I am curious to see what my husband's reaction to this movie would be. I'm also curious what my brother's reaction would be to this. He said one of his Blackwater buddies was rumored to have been pulled from Blackwater to go on this mission. My brother would always teasingly address him in full as "*first name* *last name* The Navy Seal."
