no i realized it was already in another thread. i really hate browsing the mobile site. can't even choose which page i want to read.Someone ask you to take this down? lol
i find the body proportion great. it is very close to the slim profile the original artwork uses.I think this would look better with a new body with a thicker neck and definite custom fitting/futzing with the suit and gear, and maybe a repaint with a lighter skin tone.
$250 is a lot though for it as is.
It's the chest and quad proportions that are off, also the suit color/texture too. That headsculpt is dead on though.i find the body proportion great. it is very close to the slim profile the original artwork uses.
Agreed. The pattern is odd and the proportion look a little off to me. The accessories it comes with it very cool, but for the price ill just sit and wait for LimToys to eventually make this version of Snake. They're already working on the sneaking suit Venom Snake and have teased many other projects inside the metal gear space as well as others. And for the price they charge compared to the high quality and amount of accessories they normally come with, this figure is an easy pass. But, tbh, the fomo is high on anything labeled metal gear.Yeah, looks OK. Would love to have a MGS 2 Snake figure, but $250 for a relatively simple, unlicensed figure from a company I never heard of isn't gonna happen.
I would just leave it. It makes more sense that this is posted in the Video Game section anyhow.no i realized it was already in another thread. i really hate browsing the mobile site. can't even choose which page i want to read.
That's the Smash Bros render to be fair. I've attached the actual MGS2 character model. They've done a good job with the face sculpt for sure, but there is something off with the body and the suit material. Snake's harness thing (can't recall the technical term) isn't quite accurate either - a little too skinny, I think. The fact that they're making his outfit out of what looks to be some sort of pleather/vinyl type material is enough to make me skip this guy.
I think it's supposed to be more of a cloth type material, sort of like coveralls (Mando style).
The head sculpt looks great, but those weird shapes on his outfit really throws off the original look.
