Just got the email. Getting charged for this one on Wednesday surprised I might be getting this before TDK Joker, but maybe HT are fixing the "black dot" on the nose issue that's been on recent batches for that figure.

A member here was selling Jack Sparrow accessory kits a number of years ago, jar of dirt was among the items, I know there was a rum bottle, I think an East India Trading Company crate as well . Mine is around here somewhere

Yup! Some of the first custom pieces I ever bought. Map, crate, irons/handcuffs, small bag with coins and jar of dirt. I think that was everything they offered. I think they were also doing a fabric bandana but can’t remember if that worked out at all.

Got the confirmation from Sideshow that mine is coming this month -- which is a little wild because my Artisan Joker got pushed to February, though I'm not mad about spreading out payments.

Just got mine from TBA. All around it’s an amazing, near perfect figure. Only thing that sucks is the hat for me, won’t be using it. Was going to get the sculpted version, but that shiny plastic bandana was the deal breaker

Holy **** just saw how the hat looked... why did they do this? It's their worst hat yet, unusable for me. I mean their previous hats were big but this is comically large and bulbous.

I'm thinking a matte or semi-matte coating/varnish will take the shine off the bandana. Maybe even some wax. Possibly combined with very light sanding.

Meanwhile, is there some reason a new POTC COTBP fig would never be released?

Justin posted his review, in it he compares the Artisan version to the DX15 and showcases just how awful the new hat is, I'm thinking I'll hunt down one of the sculpted hats or try to make one myself.

Kit also hasn't received his stock, it seems like only a local batch went out, with more to come later as has been the case with their latest releases.

-Shrug-....Sounds like bad choices which isn't unusual with fitting 1/6.

Either a hat that won't fit the dreads and spins around like a top, or a big hat that won't destroy the dreads but looks oversized.

Am a bit bummed about not getting a diecast sword.
