The full pics of this are up on rainmans website for anyone who can be bothered to post them here. :)

Oh...and there are only 20 outfit sets. Good luck guys.

Is it me (or the photos), but does the vest look to be the wrong fabric and color?

Those suspenders, on the other hand, are awesome!

You guys have done amazing work on this! Bravo!!! I'll probably have to dip into my savings to get these parts...such great work.

The vest could use a little more orange in it, but I'm ok with the material :rock

EDIT: Not sure why it's showing so small...

Rainman, as excited as I am for this, I still urge you to revisit the cuffs on the jacket  The pattern should be more dense, and they should be a greenish color, instead of the peach color they are now (color being the biggest issue I think) :)

To once again quote Dan's screen cap...

Unfortunately, the vest does look like it's made from some cotton fabric and not a nylon windbreaker type material.

The white coppers for the skateboard trucks are missing also. oh well. :dunno

But the close up (6th pic from the top) shows it to be (I think) a 3:1 (warp/weft) cotton twill.... not a polyester nylon! It should definitely be a synthetic for these types of vests! And yes, the color should be burnt orange, not red.

A couple of minor details being off is ok, but the vest being an incorrect material & color is disappointing. Everything else looks wonderful, though.

You're absolutely right, it's just not a deal breaker for me :)

But if there is still time to make these changes, Rainman, listen to this man!

Description on the outfit set also says something about the commercial paint. I'm beginning to think the only difference in the sets will be the unpainted head coming with one.

:lecture

Although there is supposed to be a limited number of fullsets going up at some point I think.

EDIT:

Just in case Rainman's tailor is still able to make minor tweaks to the outfit, here is what has been voiced so far:

Vest: material needs to be polyester nylon, color ne
eds to be burnt orange

Jacket cuffs: pattern needs to be more dense and green in color

And a new one
Shirt: Pattern could be closer to black than the current dark blue?

ZKULPTOR, if you read this, Rainman suggested at one point that it might be cheaper for U.S. buyers to buy the head from you directly. Do you plan on offering it outside of Rainman's site? If so, might you have an option for an attached, sculpted neck?

Also, to point out a mistake made on MY Marty figure... the blue denim panels on his jacket should NOT go flat across his chest, but should have a "V" dip (down toward his nipples). I didn't notice the V until after I finished my version. Can't tell from Rainman's pictures if he caught this.

Also, and this is something else wrong with my figure, Rainman's, (and apparently even the full-size replica shirts out there)... but unless I'm mistaken, the grid shirt Marty wears in the film is not white, but a very light grey. Noticed this the other day watching the movie in HD. It's hard to tell when it's in sunlight, but when he's on his bed, it's noticeable.

Ok, is it just the pics, or does Marty's shoes have grass stains on them? Is that movie accurate?

And I agree about the vest needing to be more burnt orange.
