It's the only way they can process orders in a timely fashion. They DO come through. Honestly, outside of going through the manufacturers directly, it's hard to find reliable resellers with good prices. Comic Statues is one of the best, particularly for Bowen pieces. I use them almost exclusively, along with Dark Shadow for SSC stuff.

I hear you man, and I understand it's a one man operation which could be why they have to do it the way the do. But the charge is a part of the order process IMO, and this means that it's not being processed in a timely fashion. It's especially frustrating when you start to see in-hand pics from people who've ordered it elsewhere, same thing is happening with the Thor/Destroyer bust.

And honestly, after reading the "comic statues" thread in the links section here, it sounds like this is a regular thing which seems to happen with in stock items too. So yeah, no more orders through these guys for me. If you're happy with the service though, that's great! Maybe I'm just being impatient - lol!

Last made so far.

But, it's pretty much confirmed it's the last of the line since DST lost the Marvel license. Who knows though, maybe they'll get it back someday and produce a Zombie Hulk (I hope).

I wouldn't recommend CS to anyone who doesn't have patience. USUALLY, they're pretty quick, but some pieces can take a while. I JUST got the MR Hulk replica, but that was a fiasco. I think some of the problems people are having lately are because they moved locations.

Still, they do eventually get to everyone, and their prices on Bowen stuff are unmatched.

To each their own.
