That's not that custom head, it's the CCToys Joel sculpt which was mass produced and properly cast.

Yeah, was not sure about that. Have CC Ellie, but ordered Joels head that I liked from ebay.

Yeah that’s the actual CCTOYS head, the one I got I think is like a cast of the IMINIME head and everyone pretty much uses lol

Now that I think of it, a two-pack with Seattle Ellie would be incredible, but tbh I'd buy her in a heartbeat as a single release anyway.

They're going with the first game looks so I don't think Abby would be coming anytime soon. That being said if these do well and there's demand I'm sure they'd consider it.

The character is not very popular, and very controversial so I doubt there’s enough demand. There is no body readily available that matches her physique. So I don’t think anyone will ever make an Abby.

My custom Abby is coming together nicely though . I’m using a heavily modified Jiaou doll body and custom headsculpts.

And yes I will grab any opportunity ever that comes up to show my custom Abby because I’m just too proud of it and I don’t have anyone to share this stuff with except for these imaginary ppl on the interwebs

Yes this is the sculpt from Etsy. But please do not get it there. There were 3D print errors on the sculpt (this is why she has a cut on her head because there was a big scratch there from a misalignment with the 3D printer). My artist also told me the material of the sculpts was terrible. Very hard to work with, not high quality resin. There were tons of imperfections he had to fix along the way.

I can hook you up with a guy who has used the same 3D file as the seller on etsy but he had the 3D model modified. Added more skin details and more detail to the hair etc. He prints his own sculpts and paints them @basquecustoms on ig. We both love Abby and the last of us in general and are constantly sharing our knowledge for making custom figures and dioramas. I can’t recommend him enough. I wish I knew him sooner so that I would’ve bought the sculpt from him and not from the amateurs at etsy.

The plan is to have them announced in March to coincide with the ending of the show and PC release, since the cat is already out of the bag on the Facebook group I will confirm we will be pulling out all stops on these two, we are developing rolling eyes for both with magnetic necks, seperate hair parts for the sculpts, as well as seamless magnetic right arms for Joel like we are doing for Nate, no magnetic hand joints because we are not confident in the structural integrity of those especially for holding heavier objects and our bases will remain the same with a crotch grabber for similar reasons and because we also prefer having sculpted enviroments on them and not flat surfaces.

Bella is 20 years old so recasting won't be necessary. I also hope season 2 gonna be loosely based on the game,don't really need to see that horrible storyline again.

Still, there's a clear change in Ellie's appearance from TLOU to TLOUII, so I figured they'd change actresses, but we'll see. I think the Sarah actress is an adult as well, but you wouldn't expect her to be adult Sarah now if she lived.

Also, if Abby didn't have any fans, how come her Dark Horse 14" statue sold out that quickly? They're even doing a second version in a smaller scale, I think your own feelings about the character are clouding your judgement tbh.

So far I like what they're doing with the show (minus a couple of things such as

the stupid kiss and the whole "cordyceps network" thing

) and the fact that it's not an exact copy of the game because it keeps us players interested. I also enjoy Pedro's Joel and the overall production quality, but I'm not a fan of Bella's portrayal of Ellie - she's doing an okay job but not phenomenal imo. However, I would be surprised if they didn't cast her with season 2 in mind. And considering Ellie is much more physical in Part II, I'm worried about Bella's ability to nail this part of the role, but we'll see...
