LOL :lol the knicks beat miami once and their fans think they are championship bound. ROFL :lol

Still early in the season for him to be injured. just hope it isnt too bad...

I had just had flashbacks to '09 right away. I'll wait to hear about the MRI results tomorrow before heading to a bridge.

Too bad since I just scored tickets for next week's game with the Spurs.:(

hopefully hes ok. I dont care for Boston anymore, but whoever wins the east needs to go through a healthy Boston team. There just not the same without him, even with a much improved Rando.

Close game for the Spurs tonight. It was a lose-lose situation (if Spurs win, they were suppose to and if Spurs lost then they suck because Mavs were w/out Dirk). I really wish Dirk played tonight, win or lose for the Spurs, I really want them to be as battle tested as possible with the new look Spurs.

Came within 2 points with a few minutes left against the Magic...until Raymond Felton decided he was going to continue to chuck shots up as if he's Derrick Rose.

He's not.

Sometimes I think Felton has similar court vision to Chris Duhon. Ugh.

Also, while I LOVE Stat, he seriously needs to stop yelling "GET THAT ****ing **** outta here!!!!" everytime he blocks a shot. It's going to equal a tech almost every single time(he already has 10 this year).

Ugh.

Bring Carmelo.

Maybe he just can't contain his excitememnt since he normally doesn't play D..

Not sure NY will be able to land Melo at this point. Mismanagement over the years have provided them w/ a lack of pieces..

Denver wants a ridiculous price for him anyways...5 draft pics plus lol??? Not worth it imo...

I hate to say it, but Kobe is getting old.

I'm not even a Laker fan, in fact I hate those pompous ass clowns. Thinking they are Gods gift to basketball. But even though I'm not a fan...Kobe has been the best and most consistent player in the league the past decade. And I do pull for anyone going up against Miami.

1. Possibly...

2. NY has plenty of pieces. FAR more than anyone thought before the season started. Wilson Chandler has been light out, Landry Fields is the steal of the draft, Gallo is only 22 years old and is getting better every game, AR, etc. But Denver has to be bluffing. Whatever. Hopefully he lasts in Denver for the remainder of the season and he goes to NY as a FA.

I love all the hate my Heat get... but man, this is turning out JUST AS PLANNED. 9-8 and 6th in the eastern conference ... and now tied with Boston for the 1 seed in the east... Wade and Bron are top 3 in PER (Player effeciency rating) and we're rolling winning 17 of 18 games!

And yet they still can't fill an arena!

Miami isn't a basketball town..

I think the only way Melo gets to New York is as a free agent. If they trade him (which they would be dumb not to), he's getting locked in elsewhere.. We'll see. I think Denver wants high draft picks and guys who don't have long contracts unless they're a golden player, which I still don't think NY has otherwise this would have been done.

NY has players that they can trade for draft picks. That's not a problem. It would likely be a multiple team deal, regardless.

NY also has Eddy Curry which is an expiring contract.

And you're right, Miami is not a basketball town. Nor is it much of anything else. The Dolphins only fill the stadium if they're a playoff team, and even then they struggle to fill seats.

The Panthers, while not in Miami, couldn't draw a picture.

The Hurricanes don't put fans in seats.

The Marlins had 300 fans attend a game two years ago and routinely have the worst attendance in MLB.

I've lived in South Florida on and off for 15 years, and I'm quite confident when I say that it has the worst sports fans in the United States. I feel bad for the true Miami sports' fans, of which many of my friends are...but overall, it's pretty sad.

Ya Florida is a place you only want to visit..

I hope NY does land Melo, free agency would be their dream scenario..

Down goes Caron Butler.. Maybe this is why the Lakers have been resting on their heels. Prerequisite for a ring is health.

The thing with the heat is they have to have those 3 play lights out everynight to win. Plus they've beaten a lot of really not so great teams over the course of these wins. Their record against good teams isn't that good.

Chicago is still hanging tough. Learning to win which will do us well when it comes to playoff time.
