tweaks to LBJ and Bosh's ankles.. That's what tight extended series will do to you...

Re: NBA 2012-2013

Honesty why do the officials feel the need to decide a game. Fouling out lebron and calling a travel on wade?!? Both bull calls in what could've been a classic finish.

If that was the case why did the officials screw over the pacers on the ball that clearly hit the rim then got put back? That was a bs shot clock call!

Bad calls or not, the Heat have to move on and forget about this loss.

When they got into the bonus with seven plus minutes left, I thought that Miami would win. But then they didn't attack the basket to draw more fouls and get to the line

Also of concern, Dwyane Wade just doesn't seem right. Maybe his knee is bothering him more than he is letting one.

The call on Lebron is one of those 50 / 50 calls, but one that usually isn't called to decide the game, especially since Wade didn't used the screen that Lebron set. He cross overed Stephenson, who went the wrong way, running into Lebron's screen.

Re: NBA 2012-2013

Bottom line is Roy hibbert is destroying the heat. Indy would be up 3-1 if it wasn't for thier coach

Bodie

I hate these kind of generalizations... forget that Ray Allen missed a free throw that wouldve iced game one or that George had to hit a three pointer with time running out from 33 feet to even get into overtime.

Re: NBA 2012-2013

C'mon, all of us here on a collectors web site are big enough geeks to know about time travel / butterfly effect rules. Even if Hibbert was in at the end of game 1, and if the Pacers won game 1, games 2 through 4 don't play out exactly the same way! :lol

Re: NBA 2012-2013

Not trying to get into this discussion about what could of or should of but, did anyone else notice the possible double dribble during the 2nd or 3rd quarter from one of the pacers just before making a shot? I think the commentators caught it as well. Not that it makes a difference but, I was just curious if any of you caught that.

Re: NBA 2012-2013

Can someone with more impartiality confirm or deny that the TNT crew seems rather anti-heat? It's frustrating.

:rotfl.... Oh wait, you're serious. I have a hard time hearing all the anti-heat talk due to the fact that the announcers faces are buried so deep in Lebron's taint. Seriously dude, I just didn't hear it.

ahhh, I was a shaq guy back then... he just loved belittling other big men and did such a great job doing it... remember when he referred to bosh as the RuPaul of big men..

Re: NBA 2012-2013

No basketballl last night, so I was flipping channels and caught the latest of ESPN's 30 by 30 series, "The Announcement" regarding Magic Johnson and his retirement from the NBA after learning he had HIV. I still remember coming home from school in 1991 (I was in 10th grade then) and watching Magic's press conference.

I didn't really get into the NBA until that year, so I missed a lot of Magic's glory days and the Showtime years, but still remember what a big deal it was when he retired.

This documentary showed not only that Magic was a great player, but a great person as well. He didn't shirk away from the responsibility, but stood up and raised the awareness regarding HIV / AIDs.

Really good documentary, check it out if you can.
