Re: NBA 2012-2013

First time in a long time that it looked like the refs weren't rigged (like usual).

Re: NBA 2012-2013

Yeah, great game last night. Clutch shot by Parker.

I know it's easy to say after the fact, but watching the game last night I felt the Spurs would come out on top. Even though the Heat led through three quarters, there just wasn't enough separation.

Lebron filled up the box score with his triple double, but as Sarakawa said, I think he needs to go for at least 24 plus points (18 points, 18 rebounds, and 10 assists is a pretty good line).

And as Van Gundy said last night, San Antonio will live with Bosh shooting threes.

NBA 2012-2013

You guys all want to talk **** that's fine. But the heat lose game 1 a lot. We lost it in 06 finals and then won 4 in a row. We lost gm 1 against OKC last year and how that go for OKC?! We lost game 1 to the bulls by 20 this year and we know what happened there. If I were you guys I'd sftu until u had a 3-2 or 3-1 lead. And i would even watch my tongue at 3-2

It's not like this same SA team has a history of blowing series leads... Oh wait...

Re: NBA 2012-2013

So far the heat always bounce back pretty big after a loss..if they don't they're in big toooooooouuuuuuuuble... Spurs know what theyre doing. This isn't some team in unfamiliar territory trying to tAke that next step...

Re: NBA 2012-2013

That's the kind of feeling I had last night. With nearly any other, younger team, I would have been really worried toward the end, knowing what Lebron can do. But the pedigree of that team shows that they know how to close and win, and that's what they did. I think the Heat can also do that, though. This series still seems very even to me. Last game was won by only 4 points. I expect the Heat to win the next game.

Re: NBA 2012-2013

Awesome game last night. Spurs D plays like the Pacers but with Parker on it. I hope we all go all the way to game 7.

LeBron again needs to tAke shots in those crucial moments rather than kick it to Bosh for a three.

I think the Pacers are definitely a better defensive team but offensively the Spurs have the edge. What makes the Spurs better is just the experience of the big 3 and how they've molded a system designed by Pop to perfection and everyone around them just buys in and fits a niche. The Spurs had 4 TOs last night...4!!!!! I'm amazed the Heat only lost by 4 without getting their transition points. I'm sure game 2 will prob go to the heat simply because I can't see the Spurs only having 4 TOs again. Still, Spurs are doing what they have to...win on the road.

Re: NBA 2012-2013

Bosh considers himself a stretch 4, but he's not Dirk. As Van Gundy so astutely pointed out last night, Bosh is dangerous at the corner three (in fact, that's the shot he hit to beat the Spurs in San Antonio during the regular season).

Re: NBA 2012-2013

I cant help it, I'll bite...

2006 was ancient history a completely different team less Wade.... Heat lost game 1 last year to okc true but was it IN MIAMI?? I don't think so. And you can't compare a Bulls team missing HALF THEIR STARS to a healthy Spurs team.

Plus if you want to play that history dictates the future card, Spurs are 4-0 in game 1 of the Finals and we know how that worked out for them in the end so....yeah

PS What's King LeBron's record now in the Finals??? 6-10??? Even if you take out his crappy Cavs team, he's still only what 6-6??? Some "King"

Are you really trying to build your confidence with the argument about bringing up the bulls? They never should have one a single game. The team was devastated with injuries and yet they still gave the heat trouble except for one game. Seems silly to bring them into the equation.:slap
