I'm very much leaning toward using my remainder points of $120 on this. It's hard to push the button out of fear of a crappy product. If it was a Prime, ECC or XM piece, I'd have no hesitation.

Even having used a good whack of points on this, I'm still scratching my head as to how it cost so much. It simply has to be of a high production quality. My Prime 1 ID4 life size Alien bust isn't costing much more. Translucent resin, limbs and all. I really hope they get this license soon, competition is good, and they will offer great competition no doubt....

The ES is hardly tiny, I think waiting and using us as Guinea pigs may be a fairly safe option.

. . . but then I don't use flexpay . . ..

I'm actually tempted to cancel this as nice as it is, I bought a new house and it's costing me more than I planned. But I begrudge losing the deposit so I'll keep the flex payments going. I suppose I'm not paying the sickening full rrp anyway.

I'll be fine with the cost IF (and only if) it turns up at a level of quality that the price implies.

However, like you, I used points, along with Sideshow's "not-quite-a-refund" from the CoolProps P2 bust damage to make this more palatable.

  • Wolf LSB base price is $649.99
  • $244.65 RP discount = $405.34 due
  • Minus $80 Sideshow credit = $325.34 due

So, between reward points & P2 credit "saved" $324.65 USD /// paying $325.34 USD . . . . . "half price" (sort of).

Of course, still need to add in the (likely) $80 shipping + 18.5% duties AND then swallow the crappy 1.34 exchange rate :panic:

my 2nd flexi pay gone out today, really hope it turns out nice, i'm still of the opinion that if you show a prototype of a forth coming bust/statue etc it should look like and be of same standard as the prototype when sent especially when you factor in import taxes exchange rates etc for overseas buyers, oh!! and postage as we don't get free shipping (sorry had to bring it up again :rotfl )

I'm curious, for those of you in the EU, how much is shipping plus import tax on top of the piece's price?

I was quoted 182usd via USPS by Chronicle for the 1:5 trex bust... Should come around 300-350 with import fees. Thats half the price of the bust :S
