Wow...that sounds awful.

The Force has plans now?

If I was Kylo, Rey, Poe and Finn, I'd say FU to "the force", old man Luke, and creepy old Snoke, become an atheist and live in peace without all that force nonsense. Let those old dude kill each other....or in Luke's case hiding.

Han was right not to believe in all that sorcery crap, but they got him in the end :dunno

I read the TFA novelisation, it doesn't really add anything of story merit to what you have already seen on screen, except for some Snoke stuff.
I don't think there will be a romance of any kind between Rey and Kylo. If anything they are probably related. There was speculation that he put her on Jaaku (which we now know he knew of via the Empire and the sith relics), his first major failing as a dark sider, Anakin had no such moral issues.. he was supposed to kill all the kids at the school, but he could't so he hid her, Snoke doesn't know. She knew him as a boy, there was a vision section cut from the movie where she saw him as a kid. And of course there is the vision of the knights of Ren where it appears anyway that Kylo saves her from being clubbed. It's made clear that Kylo's weakness is his family, which is why Snoke tells him he has to kill Solo.
And that is the turning point.

There is a lot going on with the school and that vision and Luke that we will discover in VIII. It think it fits personally, if Rey is Luke's daughter or just a student at the school. He thought them all dead. And that does look like a placed tombstone in the last shot in TFA. Doesn't look like a natural part of the hillside.

I do think Kylo will turn to the light though, but not in VIII. Anyway looks like Hayden is back in VIII, so that says a lot about where the story is going.
It's not a coincidence he is appearing at Celebration after so many years away from SW?

The second chapter in a trilogy is always the darkest, so the good guys will be on the ropes at the end of it and will suffer a huge loss. Kylo going to the light side doesn't fit for this movie. SW loves taking peoples limbs so I say Rey loses some body part in a battle at some point.

will kylo have a scar on his face

What should Ep IX be called

Yes, allegedly. And he has a helmet which is almost identical to his last one but longer at the back and clean, not battle damaged. As well as a Vader style cape.

Hopefully not her head or ****s.

I find Daisy to be super hot.

Anyways, I like Rory's post the most.

Light Kylo Evil Rey....all getting so interesting to be honest.

They set up Kylo's turn in TFA when he tells Vader's helmet that he feels the pull to the Light. Killing Han and encountering Rey had a profound effect on him and not the effect he was hoping for as an aspiring Dark-Sider.

Rey's turn on the other hand is more trivial but I think it'll come from Luke's desire to kill Kylo despite her [romantic] objections.

If Luke felt the good in Vader and the conflict, wouldn't he feel the same in Kylo and want to get him over to the light and not kill him? If he could do it with Vader....

Nah, they already said that this one is dark AF

I'm sure. My response was to the fact that Mega said "the second is always darkest" and that is not the case with the PT.

I have to say there's some really wacky theories in here. People taking one line -- one -word -- way too seriously and solving whole arcs based on it.

I'm still not buying how there could be a romance between Rey and Kylo. Particular not from her side. If anything she should be the one who wants him dead

I think Luke will forgive him in the end. I see those two teaming up and taking on Snoke and the Knights together in an effort to get her back.
