Hamill out doing damage control, getting even more interesting now:

Daisy: "We need to have a talk about what's happening here."

Hamill: "I fundamentally disagree with virtually everything you've decided about my character."

They're going to need to do more damage control after this. :lol

You see it then....

I always saw it as Vader's first slip to the light side and redemption.......and away from Palp's control. (huge theory about what the Sith actually are explained later). Immediately following this, Luke becomes WAY more powerful than Vader, essentially destroying him after he just mentions Leia. To which Palp's repies "Good Good...."

I always interpreted this as Luke using Dark side power against a weakening Vader. Palps' says "Good. I can feel your anger. I am defenseless. Take your weapon! Strike me down with all your hatred, and your journey towards the dark side will be complete." He clearly says this action will start his journey......

I think Palp's may have realized Luke was not going to be easy to control as Vader was as an apprentice....and possible could be too powerful...and might be the apprentice that is strong enough in character to destroy him.

The Sith Theory:

I always Viewed the Sith relationship as a parasitic one. The Master drains power from the Apprentice .....who in turn marginally gains some shared power as well. The increase in Palp's force powers is very apparent after Anakin kills Windu...hell he even says it...
A mere 2 second before he was dying and begging for Anakin's help.....the ZAP chucks Windu half way across the galaxy.

A similar scenario with Vader and Luke. Vader clearly toying with Luke on Bespin
giphy.gif

....and later on the 2nd Death Star, Vader is clearly in control of the battle before Luke attempts to kill Vader.
giphy.gif

Right after that event....Vader is weakened and Luke becomes WAY more powerful.

I think the Sith gain their power from sapping it from the apprentice. They use up that apprentice until a new one comes along that will give them even more power. The problem as Palp's clearly stated is if they choose an apprentice too powerful, there is a chance they could be killed by that apprentice. (which is why he changes his mind about Luke...

This also explains why the Emperor was seeking ever more powerful Jedi to turn to the Dark Side. He may have been looking for the most power force user he could , to actually find the secret of life after death.....that was promised by Plagueis. Its a tough mix to find someone powerful enough in the Force, but weak enough in character.

I also think Anakin was not the Chosen one...Qui Gon was just wrong about Anakin.

Vader still has hopes that Palps will tell him how to bring back Padme... just like I have hopes that Howard will make a Tarkin dollie.

Hasbro is doing a nice 6" Tarkin, I don't see why Hot Toys wouldn't make him. If the likeness was as good as the Mandarin or the Michael Caine they did, I'd buy one, and I'm not even big on high end 1/6 Star Wars (only have ANH Vader).

Tarkin is like the main baddie of the first Star Wars film, he should get more love. As a kid I always thought it was weird that there were all these obscure aliens and officers, droids and troopers, but no Tarkin. In the case of Hot Toys, you would think Rogue One would make them jump at the chance at him since the movie made the character relevant, but nope.

I dont mind disney wanting to bring more girls to the fandom but why do they always have to crap on the fans that carried the franchise for 40 years?

Why is that kennedy lady so antagonizing? Why cant rey have feminine traits? Whats wrong with femininity?
Why do these "STRONK FEMALE " roles always erase feminine maternal traits from their heroes? I know rey is very young but shes still a tomboy.

Not sure why creating these characters means they cant be feminine, which is ironic coming from a studio that basicalky created the princess movie trope

Or maybe it's just lazy writing. Nothing the Jedi and Sith do makes sense.

I don't even get why Luke would try and train Jedi after the events of ROTJ. **** it. Yoda, Obi-Wan, the Jedi, they were all annoys ***s that lied and manipulated him. Palpatine and Vader were weird too. The Force got weirder and weirder with each subsequent movie. I hate both sides.

The original ending for Revenge of the Jedi where Luke just walks away from it all and becomes an outcast after killing his father would have made more sense. Why would you want anything to do with these old losers till the point where you become one yourself.

It's also weird that Vader stops him.

So much for "we can destroy the emperor and rule the Galaxy as father and son".

Vader was truly cucked.

People sure are using the word "cucked" alot lately. I always thought it was some porn thing. Watching your wife get frick fraked by a black guy.

That's what palpy did to Vader. He cucked Vader just short of ****ing Padme behind his back while Vader cried in a corner.

No, not like that. That's a fat loser that failed in life.

Something like this,

Something poignant where Luke doesn't return to his friends and dance with them on Endor, but instead goes off on his own like a cowboy or samurai or some ****.

What the ST has done to Luke is make him exactly like Yoda and Obi-Wan, and that's no fun. People are expecting him to be this cool bad ass again, but he won't be. You can already tell by the teaser that he's moping and being melodramatic like a little *****.

Cuckholding is the greatest sign of love that you can give a woman. It truly is the biggest show of respect and love you can give your wife.

But dont forget the other guy deserves respect too. So dont forget to prep the bull :)

Well he might turn out to be a mopey Yoda-Wan but technically he still walked away from it all and became an outcast so we got that original ending afterall, we just didn't see him walk away into the sunset like a samurai blondie.

Which goes back to Snikt's theory that Rey's burning temple vision was a vision into the future which as we all know from ESB is possible.

But if that was a vision of the future and he didn't lose the temple yet then why is he all mopey and secluded in TFA?

I had figured he was like that because things had already gone bad.

You don't care do you lol
