Also if one contrasts the overall ratio of China’s box office to worldwide gross, they clearly put more money into the better movie (this time)
20mil to 260mil worldwide is much higher than the projected 40mil to 1bil and growing.
But yes ultimately they are not comparable.
And who is to downplay china’s choice when furious 7 or Jurassic world earned so much domestically as well?

So if Snoke isn't a Sith, does that mean Kylo isn't either? And do you need Sith to have balance, or will any darksider do?
He isn't, I think the Sith are actually part of his little speech to Rey after they fight the red guards, and he says it's time for the past to die or something.
And I don't think they are necessary to the balance, the Sith are just a 'religious' evolution of the dark side, like the Jedi are to the light.
But both can exist without either Sith or Jedi.

I think along the lines of Luke saying the Force doesn’t belong to anyone, this new trilogy is doing away Sith and Jedi names for good or bad and just saying the Force is a power in the universe that some are more in touch with and able to control than others and with that, there are those who use those gifts for good and for bad.

Well that's going to be the case for almost any non-BR 2049 film though.
Seems like a pretty tenuous connection between body odor and movie success. But I'll leave that discussion up to the experts here.No I simply destroyed the implication that poor BO in China = bad movie.
