Yeah and it was probably intentional too. :lol

You can’t tell me that Iger/Kennedy/Shareholders DIDN’T KNOW that this movie was going to piss off half of the United States or at the very least half of the white male SW fan base.

If they didn’t know they’re a bunch of idiots.

If they did know that means they were willing to accept up to 1 billion dollar in loss revenue on TLJ just to push Kennedy’s version of feminism.

I’m going with the former lol. (Reality is probably a mix of both).

It's important that we don't reinforce false narratives used to discredit people who don't like the movie. That it's only white rightists. KK & co disparaged Finn too. And some women think that the movie is insulting because was KK & co presupposed that they had to make the men look bad to make characters credible.

New rumor: Lucasfilm to release Episode 8.5 graphic novel to try to appease fans. But Ruin Johnson is the writer. This is a bit like "turning to Osama bin Laden for aid in the war on terror".

Wow. Fictional movies causing so much angst. I love the depth and passion that people have for what should be entertainment. Makes me what to quit my job; enroll into the Film program at SoCal; and be the change I want to see in the world...

Enroll in the film program at SoCal? Don't waste your money on depth and passion or "fictional movies" of your own.

Save yourself the angst and spend your $250k buying a familiar branded entertainment property instead.:lol

Agreed - despite being in hiding, Obi-wan and Yoda also never turned away from the Force like Luke did (but on a side note if Luke went to the first Jedi temple to "die" that really doesn't make sense, he probably went there looking for answers and didn't like what he found, he could have gone to Tatooine to die)

Not really. Luke is a passionate fisherman. Hence the island resort exile choice.

KK fired Colin Trevorrow because he refused to cooperate with her feminist/man hating program. Johnson was hired because he's a yesman.

Snoke will be back...and in greater numbers.

Seriously though, he'll return in some form and say something beginning with the words ''Did you really think....'' - which he'll say to Kylo and/or Rey but it'll also be a wink at us, the movie viewers.
Lord, I hope not. He looked like a mauled testicle.

It was satisfying watching Kylo Ren cut that sad excuse of a Dark Lord in half. He spent most of his screen time, in both films, sitting in a chair and barking orders, only to end up tattered and beaten in a bathrobe. :lol

Even with the great Andy Serkis behind the veil, he was simply no Palpatine. This could be a chance to finally have a film where we see the “right hand” become the master. It may temporarily expel the rule of two, but so be it. The prophecy was fulfilled anyway.

Granted, I think the balancing of the force the Jedi spoke of was interpreted too favorably on their end. A whole lot of them had to die to return some semblance of balance and what was left had to counteract Palpatine in the end. For all we know, it could become “unbalanced” again, as the ages pass.

True, but he was the ONLY character in the whole of TLJ that had any kind of menace to him.

Kylo I just want to hug and say it'll be okay, Hux is like your sister's boyfriend but a little too smug, Phasma just needs a night on the town. I mean who does that leave?

And I was a bit bummed there wasn't a decent shot of Snoke's gold slippers.:lecture

Well, I still thought Kylo had some degree of menace. Mostly after the big fight and before he lost his mind against Luke.

Perhaps he will fashion a new helmet and don it in the next film and this time he won’t lose his marbles as much, as Luke is gone. At least, that’s the dream. :lol

agree... I think the interview went something like this:

KK “I have a vision for the future of Star Wars”

RJ “I see a strong purple haired halo wearing lady that leads the resistance, I mean the rebellion, and she reminds me exactly of you”

KK “You’re hired!”

:rotfl

Huge difference....

In the medical field doctors are liable for harm they cause. Also Propofanol is a prescription that is only available in injection form, and this man did the injecting. Therefor he is directly responsible , not only for administering the lethal dose, but prescribing a dose that was dangerous , as well as continuing to prescribe to someone he should have known was an addict.

Heath, was getting his pills under different names (illegal) and buying them without a prescription (illegal). Now if you could prove the doctor he got those pills knew he was taking them for addiction maintenance, you would have a case... if you could prove he bought the illegal pill from the Olsens....again you have a case....but not manslaughter only selling a controlled substance.

The cases are night and day different .....

Jackson was also responsible for his actions as well, as was Prince, and Whitney Houston....and all the other OD’s
