I can see the appeal of a wait and see approach since a suited-up version of Mantis has now been teased by HT. Mantis looked cool in her Ravager outfit in Vol.3 but personally I prefer her individual outfit from Vol.2. That said there are some very interesting possibilities for accessories with this Vol.3 version.

they still have this as a 2024 release but maybe it low preorder slots they mean?

It could be worse . I'm still waiting to po drax!

I can’t tell from the picture, but I still have hope for no seams on her antennae.

I don't think it's highly that those tiny little antenna can be injection molded as part of the larger head with anywhere near the success rate required to make it a viable option.

I'm doing the same- waiting for Mantis and Drax in the uniforms. On one hand, it kinda stings seeing the Holiday special (instead of a uniform look) releasing soon with Groot and Rocket. On the other, Vol 2 came out in 2017, IW in 2017, Endgame in 2019, and the Holiday special in 2022- it's about damn time.

Hell yeah, those uniformed figures altogether look great. Perfect time to make a new Drax and maybe put rooted hair on Mantis

As a side point very happy she was announced when she was, as I think in today’s climate she wouldn’t have been made.

yeah she was probably the best thing about it

I did not know about Mission Impossible
interesting
but for the figure the head just doesn't look like Pom
I have a third party one that I feel looks more like her
however that one is way too tall

She kind of looks blank and sad...

She looks depressed.

The sculpt is better, the hair is better, but the expression doesn't capture Mantis.
