That’s AOTC Kit Fisto tho

Yeah but the figure seems like an all encompassing version of the character no? You got the CGI Clone Wars gauntlets paired with an ROTS portrait. Even still, there’s no logical reason for HT to exclude another ‘kung fu grip’ hand. Whether the figure is based off of AOTC, ROTS shouldn’t matter, I feel. Just give the consumer some more options.

Gauntlets aren’t even properly translated to live-action as they should be lol, but yeah I agree with you in simply just offering the options. Super easy for them to make that mold and of course they don’t do it.

If I am gonna preorder this, I gotta make sure first.. this is THE Kit Fisto, right?
I mean, there won't be any 2.0, not in hundred years, right? 🤣
You’re good. This is the definitive Kit Fisto. Put it this way, would you want the AOTC version? A downgrade design with the smaller less alien-like eyes that even Lucasfilm themselves redesigned to what he looks like in ROTS, which Hot Toys did an excellent job in recreating in 1/6 form. Combined with the option to display him in his TCW look (but in live-action) all make this the one and done.

Imo, there’s no chance this ever gets 2.0’ed. Perhaps when we’re down 6 feet under.

My Jedi council are bottom shelf bums (just waiting on that KO Yoda to arrive) so I’m not sure how much I’d appreciate having a much better looking green fish dude standing around a group of crappy old sideshow and Hasbro figs.

Nah man, after watching a YT vid on those ‘midnight openings for Prequel action figures’ as well as re-visiting Crawfords website…looking at your collection has furthered my nostalgia and appreciation for what came before.

And they still look pretty damned good. Plo Koon especially holds up.

Compared to HT Mace Windu, I don’t disagree.

🤣🤣🤣

Facts you speak of, hmmm? How embarrassing Hot Toys…How embarrassing. 😈

I have those in my collection as well. Would love to see all of them made by Hot Toys, especially Aayla Secura.

Stupid name for the character, and I have zero love for the prequels, but any alien from Star Wars is an easy PO for me.
I'm kind of with you on this. Although I like the prequels, and I don't care about the name, it's fine. I am happy he is being made for those who want more Jedi, and looks very well done. It adds variety. But I need to be picky on who I choose especially with so many Star Wars releases. For me this character had very little screen time, and I don't believe spoke in the movies. I know him when he force pushed C-3PO on the battle droid, and he was killed by Palpatine in a few seconds.
