Interested to see their Snape more than anything. I’d probably pay a decent amount for him and Serious over any other character. We have 3 pretty great versions of the kid trio already and I find it difficult to believe JND will outdo InArt in both price and overall package.I imagine the “lite” versions will also come with less accessories along with no silicone

So Kojun Lite is basically Asmus slim...? A cheaper, smaller option... still maintaining "best shape"...? :lol
Yup slim option sounds like less included, and will use PVC instead of silicone.

"Kojun Works Lite [...] is a PVC version prepared for many people to experience JND."
"Our goal is to let you experience PVC-produced products that you have never experienced before."

Yup. It's already boring that InArt and Hot Toys are doing so many of the same DC things. I know Superman hasn't been done by Hot Toys in a few years but how much do the recent ones really need to be improved upon that InArt felt a need to make one? And does that mean JND is going to make Superman too?
Whether you’re talking about Cavill or Reeve Superman, both are very outdated and pretty inaccurate. HT Cavill Superman more than Reeve Superman is one of the most modified and customized figures out there currently. It’s got wonky proportions—gorilla arms that can’t sit flat at the sides, weird shaped shoulder muscles, thighs way too big, and stumpy overall look— colors weren’t really correct on any of the figures nor the capes, the bunching up of the boots at the ankle, and its headsculpt that hasn't been updated since they started using it with the BvS figure that also wasn’t that great when it was first released.

It's crazy to me that someone isn't trying to score a new license to appeal to the collector community. Sure - Star Wars, Marvel and DC are the big three in terms of franchises. But look at the way Lord of the Rings stuff is selling for InArt. And while sales are lower than the DC/LOTR stuff they're doing, Harry Potter must be selling well enough that they're continuing for more.

It would make sense for JND to go get the James Bond license or something. Let Hot Toys make their Disney stuff - Star Wars, Marvel, Pirates of the Caribbean, Avatar, Indiana Jones. Let InArt do the Wizarding World, Middle Earth, DC and Game of Thrones as their big licenses. JND can do James Bond, The Hunger Games, Jurassic Park, the Bourne movies...whatever else wasn't picked up on already.

All the repetition is lame, and in these times there's still not enough market share that these companies can afford to get lazy and will need to keep pushing innovation and quality.

Rumours are they will be doing a Cavill Superman 2.0 at some point, was mentioned by the sculptor who leaked Artisan Thor coming

I'm all for more of the Harry Potter line. Not sure I would get Harry, Ron, and Hermione again. Now the other 3 of Malfoy, Hagrid, and Snape I'd love to see. I would buy a limited Snape if I had a chance.

Artisan Thor...? Artisan Fat Thor?

Do people still want MCU stuff?
I'd take an Artisan Thor if it's from Thor 1, Avengers 1 or Age if Ultron. I’d also still want an updated Captain America that's up to current standards as well, particularly a helmeted sculpt with moveable eyes.

JND are gonna have to actually announce something that InArt hasn’t already put up for order or release in order to get me excited.

I’m taking a gamble on their Joker just to experience this silicone gimmick in-hand but there’s no way I’m double dipping on the first movie HP trio.
If JND beat InArt in announcing Hagrid then they might catch me.

Yea I agree. For me it’s Snape but same sentiments. If JND Snape is revealed before InArt Snape, and actually looks good, I could see myself getting that one (or maybe both). Outside of Snape or Sirius, only other character(s) that JND could interest me with are Gambon Dumbledore and Deathly Hallows Voldemort

That's exactly where I'm at.

If I'm getting year 1-3 versions of figures, I want the adults, not the kids. I ordered the trio just to have them and get a decent Wizarding World collection going. Newt Scamander is lonely. Give me Hagrid or McGonagall or something InArt hasn't already said is coming. Then they'll get my attention.

I don't understand how JND continues to troll for comparison's sake and not create something no one has ever seen before. They sure are bragging like they are doing that

That’s a nice looking owl…

Brace yourself for three months of drip feedings teaser after teaser until we finally get a full reveal with an 80% likeness.

I can see Hermione's teaser emails. 5 emails dedicated to her knee area.

If the owl and mouse aren't silicone with magnetic SERS, then it's a no for me...

well, I never did have plans to buy any HP dollies. :p

Beyond bizarre from a business POV - the addressable market for HP high end collectibles isn’t too large, and to not account for the fatigue of having just preordered these characters (they aren’t even out yet!) tells me JND has limited/no business sense - and I say this as the owner of 2 JND pieces.

To say “the licensor may require it” - well, don’t acquire that license then? No need to set yourself on a path to ruin…
