It's basically the same as Ryu, except that the hands are much easier to change!
And it is more rigid at the feet so it stands up on its own.
I also like the fact that his pants are longer, it hides the joints.

Small regret, the white gloves to handle the figurine are no longer provided

Well I took a few photos as usual, not doing any crazy poses for the moment it's really basic, but given the hands, the other HS, the fire effects there is a way to do a good thing I'll think about it.

This Ken is fantastic! Really makes me upset that I ended up missing out on Ryu though.

Had time to finally unbox Ken. He turned out great. Can't wait to add Akuma with these guys.

If anyone sees Iconiq Ryu for a good price, pls lemme know <3

I finally paid for my invoice for Ken. I can’t wait until he shows up. And I can’t wait to get an email with a confirmation that one of them Chun Li’s shipped.

Hi guys, I pre-ordered Play Toys Cammy through OneSixthKit, but I pre-ordered way after the cutoff date of November 2023. They're still accepting pre-orders as of now, and the description says available in Q2 2024. It's already Q3 2024; will we be seeing the release of this figure soon? I am new to buying figures; this is my second one. Are figures releasing late the normal? If so, I will continue being patient, but I am also concerned about pre-ordering months after the cutoff date.

Extremely normal. I don't know why they even still post ETAs, I can't remember the last time a figure, from any company, released "on time."

And as for pre-ordering after the cutoff, with Kit specifically, the cut-off date is when he sends in his order to the manufacturer. He continues selling the figure after that date until his stock runs out. Sometimes figures don't sell as fast as he expected and the orders stay up for a long time, but most of the time a figure's page is down within a week or two of the cutoff date.

I’m sorry for being THAT guy…but I need to get it off my chest.

Had this not been the FOUTH TIME IN A ROW we’re getting the same body, I would’ve been more excited for this.

We needed a buffer character like say-oh-i-don’t-know-Chun Li or Guile or any other NON SHOTO before we got ANOTHER SHOTO.

Yknow what this means? We will NEVER get another male character because they can’t recycle that body to recoup the money that went into the R&D. You can’t re-use Guile’s body for Charlie/Nash. You can’t re-use Dictator’s body for Claw or Boxer. You can’t recycle Sagat’s for Zangief etc etc etc.

My hype for this line has completely deflated. I’m a Ryu fanboy and I SHOULD be through the roof with this tease.

But it’s too soon. We finally have a 3D render of a Chun Li that’s been “MENTIONED” a long time ago, we just recently received Ken after a longer than usual wait time, and Akuma/Gouki (BTW Gouki/Akuma shouldn’t have been a recycle of Ryu’s body!) is scheduled to release…well I don’t even effin remember when it’s scheduled for release. The fact these are essentially recycles should theoretically mean faster turn around times…but they’re almost a year plus apart.

Here, here! I, second this statement and as a big fan of IS products (I have Ryu, Patrick Bateman, Pyramid Head, Bubble Head Nurse), I am extremely disappointed that we are getting another Shoto with pretty much the exact mold 4 times over. Sure, it is 'Hot Ryu' which is a very popular look but, I was looking forward to new characters we have not seen before in 1/6 like my main man, Brooklyn, mentioned. Their Chun-Li briefly sparked some hope but, it may be too little too late to capitalize on the market for the collectors who already purchased the Star Man and/or Play Toy (I am guilty of getting both). Though, I am genuinely happy for those who want this figure and the Battle Ryu.

Who will be the next tease from the line? Dan? Sean? Variant of Ryu/Ken/Akuma? (Evil Ryu/Violent Ken/ Shin Akuma / Kage)

Give me C. Viper..Makoto..Charlie..Guile..Zangief!

Really hoping for more diversity but, it is not looking very promising at the moment.
