Not sure why they made Thorin. Licensor requirement? Or some tech-dork fan bombarded the poll with 'Thorin' bots.

I suppose sales will clear it up.
Might be some requirement that WB has with the license. JND is also doing figures from the Hobbit. Not sure who asked for them from either company.

A $500 Thorin is gonna barely sell from INART, imagine the $800-$1000 version from JND.

Seeing Gandalf and Aragorn together just makes me want all the Fellowship. InArt needs to scrap Thorin and fast track Gimli. He'll sell better anyway.
I’d rather they fast track Legolas. The Asmus Gimli is fantastic. Unless InArt can really show me something special, I may pass on a $500 Gimli.

HERE he is!

A little focused futzing on the forehead hair is the magic.

Rumor on FB that Aragorn will be shipping next week.
And when you ask where the rumor comes from, no answer 🤡

Until I get an invoice from Kit for the remaining balance I'm just going to continue to believe this is a fall release.

I hope it is. Was late ordering the rooted version (May for sculpted and end of September for rooted) and I could do with a breather after just paying for my premium Batman!

With a company this young, I'm not taking any previous production/shipping timelines as precedent of how things will always proceed in the future. As lawyers say: "past performance does not guarantee future results." I figure, they're still pretty new at this, and things could get faster, or could even get slower. They're still figuring out their pipeline and I'm trying to not have any expectations or predictions. He gets here when he gets here.

And it's killing me!

Thorin's my favorite Middle Earth character so if he's made, definitely going for it. Maybe 2. Just to add to the collection.

I've got no reason to replace my ASMUS Gimlis either. (And kudos to ASMUS, the dwarf bodies are holding up great, as well as the costumes.)

I'll pick up a Legolas if there's a better sculpt. Fortunately it may be a while $$$$$.

Yeah, but again, everything from shipping to getting staff in to production is kind've a mess right now, globally. I just got in a Jyn Erso bust from PopCultcha. Way back, I had a 1/4 scale Falcon from them within a week. Shipping was ridiculously quick. This small bust took a bit of time - had to go through customs and everything.

Anyway I have to re-group after blowing money for the U.S. 4th of July holiday. :lol :chug And in the U.S. I'd hate to think of my fancy figure sitting out in this heat 90F + 😎

Sadly sold my Gandalf but if I'm happy with having a few figures it's the three hunters and maybe two Hobbits and here is hoping they do Gandalf the white later.
