They’re not. Your picture is low res, but Jesse has the same ear comm design as bottom left, which is a Phase 2 design.

This is just me: if you are at all interested, passing on these is a huge mistake that will be paid for later with secondary market prices.
We have been waiting on these two FOR YEARS. And they have been wise enough to not put them on that accursed lottery waitlist, i cant believe our luck? What sorcery is this??? When you see two clones so long awaited, you better grab em!
If you got the SSC versions, so what?? Lucky you! When we get HT Wolffe i wont be selling my SSC one. If you have a 2024 Corvette do you have to sell your 1966 one? You dont! You enjoy the progression.

Ah thanks I see. The live action ones have a huge difference. In animation they read as almost the same silhouette in profile.
Yeah, I also think that because it’s blue painted, it’s harder to discern.
To keep it very simple, this is what Fives’s helmet should really look like to be pretty accurate.

Technically, they don’t go with any other Hot Toys 501st figure that are out there. P1.5 Fives and Echo are S3 based where everyone else was still in Phase 1 armor.
Okay ya I get it this would be a direct translation from animation to live action. I’ve seen other interpretations where the phase II ears are used instead for this helmet like what DICE did. I mean it had to be a conscious decision looked at by many artists, not just one or two people calling the shots. So until we get an official live action adaptation of this helmet. I’m okay with either design choice.
I guess lol. But we all know that the chin design is still wrong and it shouldn’t have those blue tick marks. Even the DICE Umbra has the diamond chin although Hot Toys decided to not give it that.
Edit: I still say the ear piece should be P1 style.

Well, they won’t. It’s just funny to me how the current helmet is actually more Phase 2 than it is Phase 1.5. Lol

Honest I always thought phase 1.5 was just phase II with a shark fin. And I watched the show 3 times without noticing.
There’s definitely some nuances.
I just hope people speak out on their socials enough to where they make changes. These modifications wouldn’t even be hard to do.

Pretty cool, will probably just pick up Fives as he looks cooler than Echo, but I don’t really have an attachment to the character… I like clones, especially arch troopers.
Really am tired of the 501st clones though… too much blue on the shelf. Would love Gree, Bly, or 212th grunt.

But I do not need to catch them all; I have ignored what feels like dozens of releases. I ignored all of the Ahsoka releases except Rex. Ignored all of season 3 Mando. I dont need everything, but I do curate what I like.

Quite an expensive month for me.
PO'ed two Droidekas two weeks ago, and now I have to buy two of each for Fives and Echo.
At this rate Padawan Obiwan can wait 'till the end of year pretty much that was I hoping for.
