Incredible work by iris, Bruce Wayne is not a character I’m interested in, but otherwise I would’ve joined the project.
Only Jokers? I thought about that but decided to focus on 89’, Returns and TDK to add a bit of visual interest. I guess I’m in a similar boat as well, no interest in owning a Two Face, Bane, or TDKR Catwoman.

Yes, not sure where the fascination comes from, but I just absolutely love the character. I might add different characters later on, but for now my full focus is on Jokers. Seeing some of those custom Heath sculpts, it almost looks like he’s actually standing there.. I don’t really get that feeling with most characters.

I’m probably one of the only people to say this, but I really like what JND does so maybe I will buy more of their figures. I like the minimalistic style they’re going for, I don’t really care about big diorama pieces and accessories I will never use.

Sounds like Nick.

I also like what JND is doing, can’t say that around here though. If JND makes a Returns Catwoman in 1:6 and gives her a latex like suit with a similar base as the 1:3 I’ll buy it no question. I have their 1:6 Type B Ledger PO, skipped their Armory and went with the HT 2.0.

Everybody is praising the InArt two pack, but honestly compared to their prototype pictures it is one big disappointment. I have not seen one picture where any of the two came close to the prototype pictures. Their other figures have been great so far tho.

Oh no, when I received my set last August I drug it through the mud, most disappointing set I’ve ever purchased, both currently disassembled in the box. I will say though, the bodies used are the best traditional 1:6 bodies ever made, and I use them for all of my Ledger customs. Heavy with solid joints, nice proportions and height to them.

Everybody was mostly positive about their Joker till they saw the price :lol

We all know which one they would pick if they were all priced at the same level.
Yeah talking licensed releases, without a doubt JND has the best likeness out of all three, seeing an actor’s likeness isn’t subjective like people always say. Hearing about Heise retiring will no doubt effect people’s plans with the HT headsculpt.
JND should’ve went scene specific on their jail sculpt, still show the teeth but from actual reference.

Yep.. people were coming for you in that JND Joker thread. I heard they will be doing LOTR figures, I’m really curious to see how their Gandalf turns out with silicone and a rooted beard. Same for their Hagrid.

I have the Type A on PO, I couldn’t pull the tigger on the Type B it was $1.7k from Kit if I recall correctly, same price as the Type C which I could’ve bought directly from JND since it was licensed in most of Europe, but it was already sold out because I waited too long. Also skipped their Armory and Bruce Wayne I just didn’t see the value there, but I’m glad they still decided to go with rooted hair instead of silicone.

I was curious about those bodies, do “normal” hands fit on those pegs or only the InArt hands?

Depending how their Bruce Wayne looks in production I may pick it up later, not sure. I felt like putting a grand up for it when I have Iris’ work coming was a waste of funds.

The pegs have a magnet in them, you can either use magnetic hands or hollow out traditional peg holes and they’ll work on the body like a normal wrist peg.

Exactly (y) I think their Bruce was pretty spot on, something was definitely off, but it came really close.

It would be great to see the JND sculpt repainted by Heise eventually. His 1/3 repaint looked great.
I agree, JND should’ve used better reference for that sculpt.

I mean... The paint should be more vibrant, but the sculpt is spot on for Heath.

Yeah, a grand was hard to swallow for that Bruce Wayne just not enough value for me.

That sounds promising might pick up a body off of Ebay.

A bit of touch up detail paintwork, thin the hair, darken the hair roots, and reposition the eyes and it’ll look superb. I still can’t get over what Heise was able to achieve with that IA Jail sculpt, madness.

JND is the closest to Bale from a licensed company but still not there yet. I really want IA to top it but they’re genuinely so incredibly slow at releasing product what’s the point, some people are just now getting their The Batman figures, that went up for PO in like summer 22’ and it’s still a bit off from the proto. The Phoenix Jokers are set to release Q1 25’ but I’m thinking likely Q1 26’.

Iris BW suit is $510, W.E studio sculpt $300, shoes $200 so about the same price excluding paintwork but with far better accuracy and materials.
