Only Jokers? I thought about that but decided to focus on 89’, Returns and TDK to add a bit of visual interest. I guess I’m in a similar boat as well, no interest in owning a Two Face, Bane, or TDKR Catwoman.
Man.. Bane would be a dream for me. But Hot Toy's Bane looks terrible. It's not even a viable option for me. I do wish Inart would make him, and sooner rather than later.

Personally, I don't see the appeal with JND's Joker. Especially factoring in the price (which also breaks the value of Inart's deluxe). That money is better spent on customs I would think.

The sculpt (finished with painting and rooting) just doesn't compare to much of what we've seen. The outfit is more or less straight forward.

I didn't like their Bruce Wayne either.

I still would love to own a JND piece one day, purely for the novelty. But I'm holding out for something special. I'm disappointed they're doing Harry Potter now.

Mike Yuan did some custom Bane stuff a while back, the waist up was all one sculpt but it was well detailed. Skipping the HT 2.0?

I'm disappointed they're doing Harry Potter now.
I see them doing 2-3 figures then realizing HP doesn’t sell. They’ll probably just start going through all of the Batman films in sixth scale.

Seeing as they just made a Returns Catwoman in 1:3, I’d say our chances are pretty high on them pursuing one in 1:6 which would be a treat to see, the eyes look so good on the 1:3.

For sure.

I'd get a JND Bane if they announced it soon.

That would be nice, but if Jazzinc's turns out great, I likely won't wait around to see if they do it. I'd love it if they hit us with a curve ball. Something we don't expect.

I'm not looking for perfection out of every character. Only a select few. Generally, I can overlook certain details, so long as the realism is there.

K is one of those I really was hoping to nail to a certain degree. I don't like the Buffy sculpt, so I went with jnix. But the paint I was shown has rubbed me the wrong way. I don't dislike it, but based on the notes I provided, I was hoping for a better result.

It's mainly the eyes. Maybe they're too light, and the pupils aren't wide enough or something.

*I'd love to see IRIS do K

I really want IA to top it but they’re genuinely so incredibly slow at releasing product what’s the point, some people are just now getting their The Batman figures, that went up for PO in like summer 22’ and it’s still a bit off from the proto. The Phoenix Jokers are set to release Q1 25’ but I’m thinking likely Q1 26’.
Yeah, it made me lose interest in their products, with InArt you can count on a year delay and then wait another 6 months to actually receive it after it has been “released” if you’re not first batch. I’m thinking the same about the Phoenix Jokers, no way that’s coming Q1 25’.

I think I'm going to retire collecting soon. When I do I'll shift my focus primarily on Ledger. I'd like to strive for ultra realism in 1/6 scale.
I'm getting there slowly. It's been getting tougher to sell lately. Not sure if it's just the economy, the hobby slowly dying, or b/c it's summer and ppl are spending their money vacationing :lol I've gotten rid of almost all my Sideshow Comic figures and all my Sideshow GI Joes. Though HT/Hono trying to pull me back with their comic line :lol I haven't ordered any but I'm constantly tempted.

I will say, while I do want mostly realism in 1/6 scale, there are a good handful of favorite characters that I would prefer in a larger, more realistic format like what JND are doing in 1/3 scale. Like I'd prefer to have Burton's Batman characters in 1/3 by JND so I hope they don't just stop at Catwoman. I need Nicholson Joker and Keaton Bats at the very least. I'd prefer to have them at 1/3 over 1/6.
Do it. My collection will eventually be -

Batman Returns :
Catwoman
Returns Keaton Batman 2.0
Penguin (if one is made well enough, no third party)

Batman 1989 :
Yunsil custom Nicholson Joker
89 Keaton Batman 2.0
Mime Joker

JazzInc 1989 Batmobile

The Dark Knight :

InArt Joker Prison Cell base with Custom Interrogation Joker

First Night Out Begins suit
Custom OT BB sculpt + Jaxon cape Begins Batman
The newest HT TDK Batman or InArt
Custom Yunsil bank robber Joker
Full Custom purple coat Ledger Joker
Type B JND Ledger Joker with full metal M76

TDK armory 2.0
Custom Iris Bruce Wayne
Original HT Alfred
Bat-pod
Black Tumbler

Have Artisan Joker, not sure if I’ll display it, may just keep it for parts like the InArt release. In total that’s only 17 figures and I’ve been purchasing in the hobby since 2017, known about HT since the first bank robber Joker release. Feels so much better not wanting everything, I don’t even want a Bane.
That's be a great line up right there. It's definitely nice to NOT want to own everything. It's a bit freeing really. Though, when you've been in this hobby as long as some of us have, it's also a bit saddening, at least for me. It makes me wonder if I should quit the hobby altogether at times.
I really want HT or one of the other companies to make Jack today so I can use updated parts with Yunsils suit instead of the old DX08. I just don’t really see it happening, if you’re at all interested in that build, Yunsils suit should be your first stop.
It would be nice to see someone have a go at 2.0 1/6 Jack Joker. The hands and shoes bother me more than anything with the DX08 set. Headsculpts can usually always been done and there are pretty talented ppl who make shoes now, but no one really does hands all that much. The ones that came with the DX08 are pretty useless.
I took one at one point I’m sure but don’t have that pic anymore. It’s night and day though. I do have an old pic of the knife and Smith & Wesson together, eventually I’ll get his shotgun.

That fullmetal TDK Joker knife is definitely on my list. The InArt one was such a disappointment and mine particularly is missing a piece from the part that you use to slide the blade up

I would love to see all of the 89-92 characters together from JND in 1:3, the uniform bases offer such a nice esthetic along with the two packs that feature the character in costume and civilian clothes.

Oh it’s definitely saddening to a certain degree, though I will say the Moducases are helping me a lot. Looking forward to putting together a nice Nolan & Burton collection after all these years, the timing is finally right in the hobby to see it through.

A bit of advice to anyone not sure on how they should navigate their collection -

Forget about the figures for a second. Start with how much living space you’re willing to dedicate to your collection, this doesn’t mean how much space your current collection takes up, but rather the end goal here. I see people all the time buying a ton of **** because “they’ll eventually move into a bigger space”, that’s the wrong approach, eventually you’ll find yourself constantly moving around due to the burden your massive collection has become. Curate a collection that fits your current living space, and be content. There’s simply too much product to collect more than one or two IPs. Think about actually PO every DC and Star Wars release, from every company. That’s a lot of space, and I’m just not into the hobby enough anymore to own it. The difficulty selling things off, detolfs getting pulled from production, and Moduspace wait times really help avoiding future purchases and keeping your head on a swivel. Just because you limit yourself to one IP doesn’t mean you need the entire IP represented in your room. Quality over quantity will always take the driver seat in any decision I make, for example, instead of needing every Batman character Mars puts out, I chose the JazzInc 89’ Batmobile with only certain key figures from Burtons films. I don’t need a Keaton BW that only somewhat resembles him just to fill space.

I'm really glad I secured one of John's sculpts when I did. I think it's a sleeper (pun intended). I honestly think it's one of the best sculpts for Ledger... Yeah... very representative of the character, unique, but also still versatile to a degree. And only limited to 15.

My only regret is I can't get Heise to push it to its full potential.

But I have faith in John. Some of his work as of late has been really impressive. I hope he'll knock it out the park with mine. I'll try to ask for something median between his and Heise's approach with the paint.

I have the same thoughts as you, I’m glad I secured one too. In every new post of John’s, his paint apps continues to improve, I’m more than happy to trust his process. This will be my first custom Joker as I only started collecting in January. For me, the price point was a no brainer as a first Joker.

Congrats man and welcome to the Joker custom family. 😁

How much is he asking? Yixie sculpts are usually around 200
600USD painted and rooted + fees + shipping.

In fact he doesn't sell unpainted sculpt, hé told me that he wants to avoid any copying so he's doing them all himself for that price which I find absolutely ridiculous.

I had high hopes for this sculpt but it ended up being a big disappointment.

Not to be negative, but I don’t think many people would have copied this sculpt. It’s very scene specific.
