Taking a shot on this. I absolutely love my Duel on Naboo Maul and Ash figures from SSC. Pre-ordered Curry Pennywise and this, hopefully they come out good

Damn, watching that trailer really makes me want a Beetlejuice figure now.
Think Sideshow have really jumped on at the right time as I think the new movie will help shift more units.

I'm also certain we'll see 3rd party figures of Beetlejuice, at this point even if hot toys did it it would most certainly be the older version and suit has subtle differences.

Not sure if it's me but looks like less prosthetic's in this or just the fact he's older.

I'm looking forward to this Sideshow BJ more than ever now that we've seen how the new BJ looks in the new film.

He's not even wearing the combat boots anymore.

I'm sure we'll get a HT or Inarts figure from the new film, but it'll be nice to get the classic look from Sideshow.

I was excited to discover that a new 1/6 Beetlejuice was being offered - but the price seems a bit high for a Sideshow figure with no accessories (other than hands)? Maybe I'm just old.

I like that there is "soft" hair vs. plastic- but it looks a little "glued on" in some of the promos- and that makes me a bit worried about the final (which is due next month apparently). Still he is about 1000% better than Sideshow's original Beetlejuice figure. Plus they did a good job on "The Dude" I thought. Plus I am going to be annoyed if I miss out completely and there are no alternatives.

Is Sideshow really the only company putting out a 1/6 Beetlejuice? Dang it. I don't want to miss out but I also want better options..

Idk what the liscence stipulations are for this character but I can see this one being like their horror line (Myers, Kruger, Voorhees) that get reissued every 2 or 3 yrs for the foreseeable future. But who knows, might be a one and done figure too. It's labeled as "Limited Edition".

I think Beetlejuice has more pop culture value than Myers/Kruger/etc. so I kinda doubt the license is super cheap. They did release Beetlejuice once before but 8 years ago and that one was pretty bad looking so an upgraded better looking version is actually appreciated.

This is the best version of Beetlejuice in sixth scale form at a decent price unless you go custom, but that route will go $2,500+

I am seeing many 2.0's and re-releases. NECA after 15 years is releasing....RE-releasing a lot of past figures.

The 2.0's are here maybe a new head, a new paint job on head and less accessories at a higher price point.

No new articulation..just here it is at double the price....TRIPLE the price....in NECA's case.

Yeah I decided to just go for it. Once the movie comes out or they start shipping, he will likely sell out. Plus as much as I'd love Inart to do a version, I don't see that happening anytime soon (or ever).

Yea, it’ll definitely be a very long time if any other company other than Sideshow will ever do a 1/6 Beetlejuice. I’m pretty stoked for this figure though.

I actually think we will see 3rd party companies jump on this guy. I've ordered one as it looks pretty good however I'm very curious as to how the final rooted product will look.

Hopefully not like a troll doll! 😬

Also agree with the price especially when you look at Pennywise with 2 sculpts, I was hoping they'd include a tombstone or a diorama stand.

Yeah it’s pricey, but he’s one of my absolute favourite characters. I pre-ordered pretty much straight away. I’m hoping the hair turns out decent but I’m also expecting some futzing will be required.
Same boat - its expensive for what it is but there was no way I was gonna pass on an even halfway decent looking Beetlejuice figure, the character and film are in my all time faves.
Hopefully this comes out well and sells well and the 3rd party companies tackle his other looks and outfits like his Tour Guide look, Red Wedding suit, his Carosel look from the "its Showtime" scene etc.....
Plus Tom and Barbra in their monster face looks would be awesome - Toys Era would do well with them.

I’m also worried how their “rooted” hair will look, compared to Inart or Hot Toys rooted, I don’t think this will be the same quality.

Eh. I doubt Beetlejuice holds a larger fandom than the 'Big Three' icons of the horror genre. Not to say he's a completely niche IP, either. But he's not holding a candle to the sizeable horror fanbase in terms of Pop Culture relevance.

He's not topping any single one of them, let alone all of them together.
