The man, the myth, the legend turns 94 years old today! I just wanted to share some pictures of my Clint Eastwood collection!View attachment 705270

Cool, I don't typically see 1/6 figures in a BESTA. They fit pretty good, despite that door having a pretty intrusive 'lip' on it.

Happy birthday to the legend himself. Mr. Eastwood 😎

Are there any other Europeans still awaiting for Josey wales arrival?
I ordered from MYTH FACTORY :impatient:
I haven't ordered it myself, but I see it's still in pre-order status (although pre-sold out) at LCDN as well. They estimated him being in stock sometime in Q2 which just ended, so hopefully your wait is almost over.

Really want a Sideshow Eastwood but on the fence about which one to get. This thread and all the pics have been a great resource.

If you have no real inclination for an Eastwood character and only want something to encompass it all, I would get Wales. He is the all-round best of the released figures.

What do you say Mr Wilson?

I reckon so, I guess we all died a little in that damn war.

The European sellers sure take a long time getting stock in. Fingers crossed there's something this month and that it doesn't change to Q3:confused:

I wonder why sideshow sculpts lack behind hot toys and many 3rd parties?

I purchased a couple Eastwood Sideshows, but the headsculpts seem to behind my Redman even...

Just wonder why? I do think it's mostly their paints rather than sculpts though...

Aren’t the redman sculpts recasts of custom sculpts?? Could be wrong.

Yes, most of (not all) are several generations later recasts of earlier sculpts. The GBU trio sets that have been released all trace back to the Iminime/CultKing days from a decade back or so. The originals were high quality resin sculpts with crisp details.

Ok makes sense...see some detail lost due to recasts but it does look better than Sideshow.

I just don't get why though? Sideshows I think has almost cartoon like paints...I think that the main issue.

Compared to say Mars and Hot toys...you really see the skin tone differences in terms of realism.

I see a lot of 3rd parties(Mars, Present, Redman, ext...)have more realistic paints that Sideshow. I think it really limits the looks of the sculpts.
