I appreciate the love Hex and the General get, yet why never El Diablo!?:devil
(no not the Suicide Squad one, the original:was pretty much DCs Ghost Rider before him)

Love this duo, somewhat DC's grim, twisted supernatural western version of Lone Ranger & Zorro / Superman & Batman's archaic World's Finest counterparts.

My hope is that Todd’s a fan of the genre. I love Hex as a character and I’m elated with this release, but I never pegged him as being popular enough that we’d get a figure of this caliber. He went all out between the horse and the “not a toy” loophole to make sure he had all of his weapons. If that were the case, and we could count on him for more Western characters, I’d love to see the likes of El Diablo, Bat Lash, Scalphunter, and, even, Talulah Black from Palmiotti’s run on Hex.

If he was feeling really adventurous, give us a Nighthawk and Cinnamon two-pack with Hawkman and Hawkgirl’s alter egos, but, at the moment? I’m in heaven. Jonah’s my number one guy and I am just happy to have him.

Question about the B:TAS figures....are they their own line or are they mixed into the other multiverse lines? I'm a little confused.
So, the TAS figures are 6” scale re-releases of the DC Collectibles/DC Direct stuff that came out over the last decade with some new characters thrown in as Build-A-figures (thus far). They have their own packaging and their own waves and release independently of the 7” scale Multiverse stuff. Hope that helps!

I was pretty quick to pre-ordering immediately when it went up and still got backordered.

Anyone got theirs?

Mine got back ordered, but my local Targets had some available for pick-up, so, I cancelled my POs and got mine that way. So dumb…still, it looks great and I like the Navy hue a bit more than the OG black. It looks a bit more reflective of the car’s appearance on the show, IMO.

Got it. Thanks.

The Batman Forever Batmobile got officially revealed at SDCC today. It comes with an Alfred figure, and lights up (in a weird green rather than the blue from the movie).

Man Todd lol.

"We can do anything right, it's just the more right you do it, the higher the price is"

I guess green lights were cheaper, same with the 89 batmobile canopy that was oversized and used more material :ROFLMAO:

At least all the proportions on this Batmobile look good, at least to my eye. Though it'll probably be a tad undersized and just a one-seater inside.

It's just the lighting color that's frustrating to me, and it looks like it's the interior mold that's colored rather than the lights themselves, so it'll be incredibly difficult to change that.

I would consider getting that just to represent this Batmobile even though I don't collect the figures but yeah, wtf with the green lights....

McFarlane sure has the spirit of a troll in him. They could get everything right for the same cost as getting them wrong (Todd's "artistic licence" to deviate from the source material whenever he feels like it).
Seriously, what happened? In the late 90's / early 2000's his Movie Maniacs line were cutting edge of collectible accuracy.

That being said, I am stoked this vehicle and a Michael Gough Alfred is getting made, but I can't help but feel another company, like Hasbro, would have put more attention on getting this figures and vehicles to look as accurate as possible. Funny how the times seem to have changed.

They have done such a better job on the car shape compared to the 1989 version except in the video with Todd holding it shows the middle fin is looking way taller than the on screen version. Like the green lights why get things so close yet just off enough to noticeably wrong?

The dude literally trolls us with releases like this. So much is right, yet its the little things that he gets absolutely wrong that just ruins the entire piece. His TDK Tumbler is pure Bat Tank like its supposed to be but the front of thing and its nose, the wings, the canopy and how it opens and closes, and a few other things just bring down the whole thing. Same with the canopy on his 1989 Batmobile (thank god for Ace and Ramen Toys). It sucks that this Forever Batmobile will probably be a one seater but that's okay. The green led lights instead of the blue ones though just kills this thing. Plus, the middle fin looks way too tall and also should open and close. Hell, the old Kenner one from 1995 could do that and it sold for like $25 retail.

Had to double check to see if it's fixable. The translucent inner body casing that lights up is indeed green. Insane :ROFLMAO:

Really makes you wonder why we sometimes see ‘pending licensor approval’ on things when something that obviously wrong and easily fixed gets approved. You’d think that would be immediately obvious looking at ANY reference material for that Batmobile.

Same. Not that I've been buying this line but I might have bought this car for its nostalgic appeal if they'd simply had the correct color lights. I wouldn't risk making a purchase on the offchance that they later reissue with the correct blue.

What’s even worse, is that on the McFarlane website, the description for this Batmobile specifically mentions it’s blue lights 🙃
