I was hoping to see Superman in person at SDCC but if Paul Atreides, Michael Jackson, Rick, Daryl, and Negan are any indication, I cant wait to get Superman in hand.

I'm curious if Hot Toys will still be revealing a 2.0 or if they're going to focus on the new Corenswet Superman suit.

Hot toys will definitely bring out a 2.0 the moment this starts getting traction again

Hot Toys should focus on a MOS 2.0 if they do anything.
Agreed. There is little point in doing BVS.

Man of Steel desperately needs a figure but I very seriously doubt anything from HT will be worth a damn in the sculpt department.

They have never cared about putting any effort into Cavill Supes and there's no reason to think they would in the future.

Every Cavill Supes they've made is a blatent, in-your-face lack of care or effort imo.

I got a feeling this might not get pushed back cause there’s not really anything else they need to update on this figure anymore
There were various things they had to update, and we’re still waiting to see those updates. However, it won’t get pushed back. It’ll be released for the VIPs and Influencers.

Expecting this to release in September.

October tops.

Other than the shoulder glyphs, I'm not expecting any changes.

The influencer batches need to just come to an end. Their figures are usually long sold out by the time they get them anyway so what's the point?

How does that influence anyone to buy something that is no longer available...
Imo, it’s to spread awareness at the end of the day. That new person would take notice of these products and then they’d be sure be on the lookout for a character they’d be interested in the future. Or they now know about the figure they “missed out” on and up to them if they wanna track it down or not, even at a premium.
