Ok I have to admit this new movie footage does look pretty promising. As Mando appears to be back to his badass self again.

And you can never go wrong with another snow planet in my book, and getting to see some Snowtroopers and AT-ATs again.

I'm such a sucker, I'll bite.

I just wonder what the plot his here. Grogu chose Din, Gideon is gone, Mandalore is reclaimed. Where do we go from there?

Is he just out dismantling Imperial remnants? Full time New Republic agent?

Sounds like he's simply working independantly as a Bounty Hunter again, which is what I always wanted anyway.
Though that of course will inadvertantly tie in to all kinds of (bigger picture) ramifications.
He's got Filonni attached, so just take it for granted everything is going to have to tie into his cartoon vision, and worse the appalling Disney Story Group narrative.

At least S3 tho laid the groundwork for Mandalorians eventually joining another "ultimate fight" e.g. the big movie.

I've always been happy with my HASBRO Razor Crest (may #1 rest in peace) but looks like a? Razor Crest will get more action. Always loved that Mando dogfight against the Tie fighters it was beautiful.

I assume he's going on some urgent mission that will help in the fight against Thrawn somehow, since that seems to be the major threat right now.

It definitely looks like they're trying to remind everyone of the first two beloved seasons by bringing back the Razor Crest though.

More callbacks... that's all I saw.

On the other hand, it's kind of hard to bounty hunt in an N-1. It'd be trying to do the van life in a Porsche.

The most you could do is collect a few heads.

I was honestly hoping Pelli Motto was going to find an old Razor Crest hull, and combine it with the N1 for him.
I guess they didn't get my concept "art" memo


I'm just glad it's back, it made more sense for him as a Bounty Hunter (and dad) to be driving the SW equivalent of the camper van.



Don't know if the ship is Zeb's, or if Mando hired him as a pilot/transport?
Though if he inherits the new Crest, I hope he kept Gorgu's favorite control knob from the old one.

I will unbend far enough to say that I'm still not very interested, except in one thing - and that is that AT-RT footage. That is very interesting indeed.

Otherwise I'd still much rather see Death Watch vs. New Mandalorians, or just about any damn thing that isnt sequel trilogy related. Bring on a Mandalorian grudge-match. Nope, we will be looking at Grogu.

I remain a fan of Grogu.

Going by the D23 sneak, there doesn't seem there will be much new, to justify a new Mando figure?
Though Zeb will be more than likley.
And undoubtedly a AT-RT (Recon Transport).
Yet if Mando is in fact inheriting a Crest 2.0, maybe we will finally get a Mando Armory, done in the style of the free standing Batman Armory set up, of a Mando's Armory/Weapons Locker.
