Finally we start talking about toys. The last 3 pages were wasted on business talk regarding Snyder/Gunn. I get caught up with discussions about older toys in another thread, and I go through 15 pages worth of off-topic discussions about marriage struggles in the collecting hobby. Can we please just keep the discussion to toys?!

Ok, I see your point but really there was discussion directly about this figure and others in this line through the bottom of page 27 …so only page 28 (one page out of the last three) was dominated by business talk.

I also would not want to see a thread like this dominated by studio talk, however I think some discussion of studio business is fair/relevant to the discussion of these figures.

Moves/decisions by studio heads and film makers determine which characters will be in the films and how they will look. Also in some respects how these films perform in the box office may impact the decisions of Hot Toys and others about which figures they will make.

Re: from the Superman Legacy Thread
too bad for for Sasha Calle who could have had [their] own film.

It's meaningless now, though instead of Superman's cousin Kara, (who everyone knows what she should look like) They should have just introduced her as an alt version of Lara, the daughter of Superman and Wonder Woman:
(using that timeline Christopher Reeve Superman and Lynda Cordova Carter Wonder Woman (who should have had a presence in that time-singularity) as the hypothetical parents.
Both would have been abt the same age as that world's Keaton) (now symbolically her godfather).
She actually looks like the character, even reads as he could be the Daughter of Christopher Reeve and Lynda Cordova Carter. And by way of them, developed as her own legacy in that specific time-line, Calle might have been accepted more?. :huh ?

Further in her own film continuity, she could have even been mentored by the older Keaton (Bruce Wayne), Lynda Carter (Diana), and Slater (Kara).
Don't follow the behind the scenes much, though it seems meaningles, they are rebooting their Universe(s) back to square 1 anyway.

“She is dead, Jim”

Yeah, had “The Flash” been a hit, had Gunn and Co. not taken over and messed with it, had DCEU not sucked so bad… we would have gotten a Sasha Calle Supergirl movie. Instead, now we have a one and done Supergirl figure for an appearance on screen for less than 15 mins in a bomb that doomed any prospect of Sasha ever returning to the role… She had a good performance for a thankless role in a forgettable movie that I actually enjoyed…

Would still love to see her pose with her final production HT figure that actually looks like her! Someone please get her one to complete her collection!

Yeah at this point I'm just getting the figure for the cool costume design more than anything else.

Although it might be fun to pair with the Alcock Supergirl figure down the road if they ever make that.

How have recent silicone(?) costumes from Hot Toys held up? Between this figure and the rest of the HT Flash line, I'm just concerned that they'll all deteriorate/tear pretty quickly, especially if posed dynamically (which honestly is the main reason I'd plan on getting them).

That headsculpt is still very rough
It’s looking pretty good to me.

And color me pleased that I just got charged for my first flex-payment.

I hope so Raven.

But I think we'll see the 800th Super Mega Deluxe Special Collector Edition Artisan Iron Man and more Star Wars before we ever get an update on this. The entire line feels abandoned (I know it hasn't been, yet) and this for me was/is the highlight.

Wasn’t it already updated? The most recent photos of this Supergirl on display show her looking lightyears better than the initial prototype.
