Depends how bad they poison it with Sequel content for me. I can deal with a little as long as it's epic. It was clear the series was starting to peter out bad and the magic they had captured prior was fading fast.

Honestly would have preferred he hung out with Bossk, over one of Filoni's cartoony repurposed (unused McQuarrie) concepts.
.
Also for a guy with a flying jetpack, he spends allot of time riding the most cumbersome footed land vehicles.
Though like the AT's, Tauntauntans, Dewbacks, Blurgs, etc. I appreciate it's part of the SW visual language I love.

I'm so sick of Mando & Grogu. That story line should have ended at the finale of S2. Mando is a Bounty hunter. He should do a job and move to the next no emotion. The very first job we as spectators saw, Mando was like "Naw I'm keeping this one". WTF? He's not a Bounty hunter, he's a hoarder!!!

I wanted Grogu gone after a few episodes. S2 ending was already far too many episodes of Grogu later but at least it was a satisfactory conclusion.

Then BOBF happened. Then Mando s3 happened. Urgh.

That's why it would have been better if 'The Mandalorian' had been Boba Fett. It might have pissed some people off turning Fett into T2 Uncle Bob but look what they ended up doing to Fett anyway! At least Mando maintained a certain ruthlessness when dealing with antagonists regardless of Grogu-softening - that could have been Boba Fett.

I agree that Mando, and Grogu arc should have ended after S2 and should have been a learning experience for Djin in terms of having compassion for others. It should have kept him going as a Bounty Hunter similar to The Man with No Name from the Dollars Trilogy. Would have been cool to see a SW version of A Fistful of Dollars, seeing as how you can interpret S1 and S2 as Lone Wolf and Cub with some Spaghetti Western in it.

Originally it was Boba.... Favreau's Boba movie was combined with Filoni's Mandalorian culture focused project by Kennedy and the result was basically a stretched out movie script with added "this is the way" where Boba was replaced with KO-ba fett and IG-88 replaced with IG-11.

Boba is dead bro, you need to let him go...

This is the exact reason why The Mandalorian seasons 1 & 2 are canon and the rest is not...

According to Temuera Morrison, due to the poor performance and reception of TBoBF, Boba Fett is not appearing in The Mandalorian movie. We may not see Morrison back as Boba ever again.

Screenrant loves to post misleading headlines.

This is apparently all Morrison said on the matter: "I'm still waiting for a phone call to be quite honest," he observed. "I think we're just put on the shelf for a little bit. Maybe we come off the shelf later."

"Still waiting"
"I think"
"Maybe"

Nothing is confirmed.

And that's assuming Morrison is being honest and not just lying to reporters because he's been told to keep his participation a secret.

If Boba is in the movie, Disney is going to announce it through a press event, it's not going to be revealed by Morrison during a random comic-con in response to a fan Q&A.

That's not the article I first read it. That one only had Temuera's quotes re BoBF not doing well and he didn't think he was coming back.
I couldn't find that article so linked to this one instead. My bad.

And that makes me sad. Morrison is in no way responsible for this and it feels like he's getting punished for Lucasfilm's mistakes. He's not going to be around forever and let's use him while he's still able and healthy.

With that said, I am fine with him not being in this film. Let it crash and burn in its own right, like Mando S3 did. Fett has been through ENOUGH.

The post you're quoting was discredited. In other words, "FAKE NEWS!"
