Those blogger pics really have me sold on the new sculpt. Not perfect, but the ears/head shape seem to be helping the likeness more.
Learning my mistake from AOTC Anakin and ordering from Popcultcha now, don’t want to miss this. My biggest complaint right now is the weapons. I don’t think any of them are particularly accurate to the movie, I mainly remember him having something closer to his gun from the first movie.

They really dropped the ball on the teeth paint apps. You can see where they just did the lip, and left the solid block white for the mandibular teeth. You can even see some tooth detail in it, it's just not resolved with a wash.

It's a shame because the teeth on the GOTG 2 figure are very realistic.

I don't think it's anything I can't fix myself, but it's definitely a poor way of doing it and the close ups really highlight it.

Either way...I guess I'm in. I do love this look with this blue suit. I've got all the other Rockets, somehow. Why stop now?

Yeah I am not sure why they didn't make the suit fabric or the fur artisan on both figures or just make them look less toyish, or just use less gloss finish on them

I wounder if an Artisan Rocket or Cosmo would even look good
 
I actually would like to find this set. Seems like it’s sold out most of the usual places I buy from. I like the look of Rocket and Golden Retrievers are my favorite kind of dog so I’d like Cosmo. Should have pre-ordered right away.
 
Man, that’s such a happy looking dog! I feel my troubles washing away just from these pics.
Might try and get a parted out cosmo now.
 
Here's my guardians shelves with the new Rocket sculpt and Cosmo <3

This shelf is finally complete, though I am trying to get a project going on a 1/6 Howard the Duck -- just don't know really where to start haha.

Also instead of selling the new Rocket body, ended up popping the old head on it and giving it to my brother, win win! :) For Christmas I'm thinking I should probably buy him Vol. 3 Groot now eh?
