Imagine how stale the hobby would be without customs.
Best part about 1/6 scale is it's modular and customizable. You don't have to settle for anything you're provided, or choose between one of two options. You can sort of make the build that works for you.

With the options available now, I'm more than content with this figure/ representation. I'm really happy with what I'm seeing so far (barring the arm issue I need to figure out when I get a chance to sit down and give this my full attention).
The next milestone would be a suit upgrade, but I'm not expecting that unless we see another company release.
I doubt Hot Toys could pull it off (or care enough to try). I don't see Inart taking another stab unless we see the exact same suit in THE BATMAN part II (and even then it's still a maybe).
JND would be the one to watch closely. I don't know if they're up to the task, but I've been looking for the right opportunity to jump aboard the JND train, to see for myself what all the hype is about, and this lends itself perfectly to that.

For sure. Most sculpts I've been quoted on were always over $1k.
But those were probably non-masked sculpts with rooted hair, or am I wrong?
Nope, not even Batman sculpts. I was quoting sculptors for a custom Cyberpunk sculpt. And I was supplying the 3D file, which was about 80% complete already. And a few still quoted me over $1K, unpainted. lol

Just got my cape from osk. Iv just thrown in on and as uou can see it’s no hassle at all compared to the stock.
The outer material is a bit too shiny, it has weathering on the bottom which helps with that.
The pleats are folded really well, it’s hangs well at the back but the material bunches together just enough on the shoulders to create a small gap.
But i like it, gives the figure a much more svelte look than the bunched up stock one.

Looks the same as the OSK cape to me. If any company makes a new cape the big difference that I want to see is the correct stitching at the sides and front of the cape. Still a great option though.

I agree it looks the same, just nice pics and lighting. I mean if they bothered to provide details of the material maybe used for it that would be helpful but there’s nothing there besides pics.

Definitely the same cape on OSK. It comes in that bag with the foam minus the envelope.
Oh come on. If you put your mind to it, you can "do" anything.

I guess one solution would be to implement magnetic eyes. But don't tell me that would not increase the cost to an undoable range...

To reiterate what others have said. Somebody made a seamless sculpt, with rolling eyes, and no magnets required to maneuver them.
And he did it in his house.
