I'm having reservations on that second drape cape I ordered in anticipation for Returns 2.0.

I feel like that figure won't ever materialize. And just as well it doesn't. I am not hopeful for the "upgrades" they may give it.

I really don't think they'll go through with it after the backlash of this figure.

Never say never I think. They'll do it because Batman sells regardless, plus they only need to give is better faceplace, new body new suit durability and cape. That suit can stay smooth as it isn't the same as 89.

I can see BR 2.0 getting announced real soon since Hot Toys just announced Chewbacca which was part of the ACGHK teasers.
 
Somebody slapped a DX09 mouthplate on the 2.0.

I guess it looks better?..

Has anybody reached out and asked Unreal if he'd be willing to make his mouthplate compatible?

I don’t think he will. Myself and others have asked in his instagram comments with no response at all. Shame. The eyes on his cowl look cartoonishly big, almost like he blew up the Mezco figure. We don’t need a new cowl, we just need new faceplates.

I’m sure he’d much rather sell $300+ full cowls than $50+ faceplates.
 
Apparently his cowl is to replace the DX09
and not the 2.0, with him possibly doing that one later on?

That’s what I’ve heard at least.

I imagine its probably a similar situation to the Pattinson sculpt. He has the DX09, but not the 2.0. For Patbat he had HT and not Inart

Yeah he’ll need to come up with a way for his sculpt to fit on the new peg. The new suit ruins my desire to put the custom sculpt with it, would rather throw it on a DX09 personally.

Too bad Sideshow doesn’t have the Batman Returns 2.0 up as coming soon, all of the other recent previews have made it to that stage.

I actually really like his cowl.

But I'm weighing my options.

IF I were to pick up this 2.0, it's going to set me back at least $600 (ridiculous).

The prices have soared unexpectedly, and that box with the diorama will cost a pretty penny to ship to me.

Jaxon's cape will set me back $90 shipped.

So that rules out any possibility to drop hundreds more on the cowl. Especially when the final result will still have its shortcomings..

I guess it ain't happening. Not worth it whatsoever, unless I can miraculously find this at retail.

It's a comic book movie.

There was an original 35mm 2k Restoration of 89 bats movie, I kind of see how modern remasters ruin a movie original look

The movie has a great noir look to it with dark shadows engrained everywhere.
