I'd be curious on SooSoo Toys take on the female rangers... I honestly really
disliked the ThreeZero female bodies and their helmeted heads had absolutely no movement.

So far, I'm afraid their plan is only Reds and Sixth Rangers, which would suck... :(

Based on the Dino Thunder Black pics, it looks like they already have a superior boot / foot
design to their rangers... not sure about functionality, but hopefully the feet don't fall
right off the peg as soon as you try to pose them like the ThreeZero ones do. :rolleyes:

It was a great storyline. That's the Power Rangers I remember. It seemed the stories can be enjoyed by high school kids as well and grade schoolers. I loved the non-cgi stuff.

It's a great time period we lost. The acting was great, the action, the megazords, the plots were fantastic.

I never really was into Turbo. At the time it came out I think I was past my Power Rangers phase and never really watched it.

I remember years after the movie came out I rented it on VHS from my local Blockbuster and the guy at the register gave me this look like he wanted to make fun of me for renting it or something. It was awkward.

Not a bad movie but still not my favorite Power Rangers iteration by a long shot.

The price is making me a bit hesitant also.

I want Leo and Connor though most....and the Wildforce dude. That was my power rangers prime really after the MMPR years. I really enjoyed Timeforce(as did everyone) and Lightspeed a lot.

I came back here and there, I actually enjoyed Mystic Rangers, as it had some old school themes and good acting especially from the older actors. I saw Samurai and fount it to be cheesy in a good way..but that was it really.

But the increase in price is making me hesitant. But it does seem to be a limited batch, and they are not joking I think.
 
Mystic Rangers was from a time I barely remember as a kid, but I do remember having some toys from it, and the theme is forever ingrained in my head, as is every other PR Intro lol.

The price made me second guess my decision, but I genuinely don't see any of these Rangers being made ever again. Especially Shane and Conner.

I'm still hesitant on Wild Force red, big nostalgia from Forever Red, but the controversy behind the actor, and him not even being my favorite ranger from that season, kind of makes me okay with missing out.

Plus, With the 3Z figure I have now, the 3 I PO'd from SooSoo's first round, and the 3 Ive PO'd now, I'm looking at A LOT of Rangers. So Id be right to limit myself.

This being said Id day one PO the 2 Rangers from Dino Thunder and the 4 Rangers from Ninja Storm to finish those teams off.

I preordered WF red because of controversy, he might never be made officially....

I'm hesitant on Dino Thunder because of money..

That would require new tooling.

I would be surprised too see Dragon Toys so those type of things.

I am sure they are all associated somehow.

Time Force and In Space are the only other full teams I want. However I definitely want one or two from the others teams. Mostly Red or "Sixth" rangers.

I'm wondering if they will tackle some of the more complex armored rangers like Phantom Ranger or Magna Defender. Certainly the former is right at the top of my Want list.

I have a Lightning Collection Phantom Ranger on my computer desk as of this very moment. Currently customizing a ruby for his chestpiece.

I certainly would be happy to grab a Phantom Ranger. Dai Shi, Zedd, and Shadow Ranger would also be some pie-in-the-sky wishes.
 
We got our first unboxing and review.


Looks like it came out nicely. Even might be more poseable than the Threezero figures.

He looks a tad smaller than Threezero, if that makes a difference to collectors. I’d prefer them being the same height but I understand these weren’t all the same actor or characters in the Sentai. I’ll probably have mine on a slight platform to help with that.

We may not ever get official 1/6 Dino Thunder figures, so at the very least this seems to do the job and do it well.
 
He’s fantastic! There’s absolutely some things I think could improve it, a body swap, and a helmet repaint. But neither of those are inherently bad on this to begin with, just nitpicks.

So happy to have this grail in my collection. This Ranger here was my hero even before Batman or Luke Skywalker.

Ankle extenders help the figure a lot. Still smaller than the threezero figures in terms of overall bulk, helmet size, and hand size, but an improvement to be sure.
